In response to the protests, the faculty has started an "accelerated review" of the syllabus to appease them (or just wait for the main agitators to drop out). The backlash is already here at Reed, the new freshman class has plenty of students (all students of color so far, notably a lot of Chinese) that speak out against this asshattery.
