I just watched the Disturbist's critique of the alt-Right. He had a few minor points I might quibble with but overall a far more interesting analysis of the movement than any other I've seen.
One of his most useful observations is that the alt-Right isn't engaging in local grass-roots politics or actual community building. This is definitely a major disadvantage for Millennials and future generations, because if they don't foster cultural development, they'll have no culture to save.
>tldr >What are some fraternal organizations that people here belong to or know something about?
>I'm thinking Masons and others that are involved in their communities in politically and socially productive ways
>What are their pros, cons, your general impressions, and what other social groups might we start to form to gain greater practical political power?
"People who join secret societies are adventure seekers, men who wish for another life, another purpose. They are intelligent, yet easily misled, earning for a brotherhood, ignorant of what lay above, careless for what the means of an end is. We will have no trouble manipulating these men"
Christopher Brown
>5h video of some fag dissecting a movement led by a federal agent
Remember when Sup Forums said it wasant the alt-kike? It hasant changed.
Landon Bennett
Not necessarily referring to secret societies. Churches, book clubs or other meet ups, any social organizations where like-minded people come together, share ideas and resources, and pave the way to organized political action.
Jeremiah Sanders
any of those are just as well. Just looking for experiences and ideas.
Mason Baker
This also correlates with another point of his which is our inability for foster good leaders. We could solve two birds with one stone.
Nicholas Bennett
>Kill two birds with one stone
Yes leadership is important, but some kind of coming together of people obviously needs to precede the establishment of hierarchies within the group

identity europa seems pretty cool

I agree. Is there an American counterpart you know of? Is IE race obsessed or is the foundation of their movement Western Civilization and Culture. Are there non-white members?
> Is there an American counterpart you know of? IE is based in North America, despite its name. Damigo (founder) was an Iraq vet, and Mosley (new CEO) is also American. I guess the identitarian movement started in France with the new right, but not exactly sure if or how IE is directly related.
> Is IE race obsessed or is the foundation of their movement Western Civilization and Culture. Are there non-white members? Pretty sure it's the latter (red ice interview with Mosley is informative). However, they do ask this question in their application: >> Are you and your spouse/partner of European, non-Semitic heritage?
Dylan Taylor
Very interesting. I've heard of them but will look further.
Definitely an interesting time to be a Western man, we're watching the pillars crumbling. The question is whether we'll be able to save any of it- have another Renaissance a few hundred years down the road.

he seems to ignore the demographic issue, which is central to the alt-right. Unless he addresses this his criticism is lacking. He raises some good points but offers no useful alternative. If his goal is to slowly mollify the alt-right into a toothless soft christian identity movement then he doesn't have a hope of success.
Evan Jackson
his summary of Hitler here was stupid. Hitler failed at what he tried, but in the context of the pressure on Germany post-WW2 his gamble was the only hope Germany had of dominating Europe (rather than Russia, Britain, or the USA). He hides behind psychology and weaves a childish narrative about WW2. This is important because the alt-right does not have the luxury of worrying about having the perfect leader while the demographics flip. I agree that leaders must be competent (and not lead people into a trap, like Spencer did in Charlottesville), but as long as people are held responsible for their failures this is not a central problem. The alt-right does not have a Fuhrer Principle.

Don't lose hope friends. This guy underestimates humanity. He doesn't see what's going on. "Alt right" isn't just a movement. It's the manifestation of a primal sociological directive. We all see the gears turning in this direction. The purge is coming. It's absolutely unstoppable. Attempting to suppress or control it is vain and futile.
It is the will of kek and we're all in for a wild ride.
