Its a bit of a racket, but everyone knows about it. You go to a chiropractor, or a sports medicine place, say your core is weak(wink wink) say you have issues with back strength, then ask to get your test levels checked. They refer you to their actual doctor buddy who runs simple blood work then they fax you a prescription to the chiropractor a day later.
If your normal doctor won't give you a prescription just from asking directly you can always get one. Even just saying you feel low energy is enough justification to get one.
