I'm a conservative female business owner any thoughts on this?

I also have a husband and 3 kids. He's conservative and anarchocapitalist. He's a big fan of Ayn Rand too and works in corporate law. He's conservative but believes women should have rights and is also against the anti drug laws. The reason he hates leftism is because he hates collectivism and lauds the individual above society. He also hates Nazism and Communism. Any thoughts on this?

"Any thoughts on this?" would have sufficed. Who gives a shit bitch. Sage.

fuck u for beng a bigot

You should ditch your business and have 15 kids instead of 3. 3 is way too little to save the white race.

Or keep your business and allow your husband to get multiple white wife's and financially support th kids they have.

Waman vote with their vaginas and screw up society. Easily tricked into destroying everything that is givin to them, just like the low intelligence nigger. We tried the pilot program, and now have the evidence. Just do what your husband commands of you, and everything will work.

It is poorly reasoned and poorly written.

Sounds too good to be true.
If it's all as you say, keep up the good work.
Entrepreneurship finds merit in a way that is blind to gender.
Have you made any arrangements for your childrens' educations?
It sounds like you're in a financial position to do better than public schooling.

You will betray everything you currently belive in later in your life.

Ayn Rand takes the right ideas too far... into the realm of autism and absurdity. It's a movement that claims to be about critical/rational thought. But the members do no critical or rational thinking. They just dogmatically recite Ayn Rand's precepts.

The tl;dr is that objectivism is a personality cult. Ayn Rand was a very cold, autistic person who was deeply flawed and unable to live up to her own ideals (read up on her). And she created a very two-dimensional world where every character reflects her autism.

A lot of the ideas are good. But you have to be able to think for yourself and call bullshit when she says batshit crazy things (Like rational people will never disagree or resent one another, or that rational people will all have the same taste in music, and art, etc).

He cannot call himself a Conservative and simultaneously a Libertarian. I assume the trend of morons doing this comes from the American idea that Conservatism is about being a free-marketeer and a neo-Liberal.
This, in the classical sense of the word 'Conservatism' is not the case. Being a Conservative means that you value tradion, maintaining an established social order, religious and family values over the Socialist idea that change at all costs in all areas is always good, and nation state sovereignty. This doesn't seem to describe your husband if he is pro-drug legalisation and an Anarcho-Capitalist.

Read more Hoppe.

What's the problem? He sounds like he has things figured out.

Nice to see another freeper on this board.

Fun fact: Any HATED the GOP, but don't take my word on it...

In the US the libtards have "redefined" everything. Here "liberal" is commie and "conservative" is classic liberal. I know. It's confusing. It is what libtards do. When a word starts to poll negative on them they change the meaning.

I don't think WF Buckley himself was real fond of the GOP elite.

Atlas Shrugged makes a couple of important points:

1) The state can be evil through a combination of pettiness, incompetence and power abuse. Venezuela should be a case in point. Leftists seem to somehow always presume that the state is great. Atlas Shrugged doesn't say that a state always or necessarily is very bad, just that it might be.

2) There's differences in how much people work and contribute, even to do with their skills, not just how many hours they put in. This also goes against the "everyone is equal" and "everyone should have the same" mantra.

3) Not all needy or poor people are good. Some are giant assholes, lying and thieving. This also counters the leftist "noble poor person, evil rich people" narrative. It doesn't say that all poor people are bad - it just points out the possibility that poor people can be bad and make evil choices. Leftists hate this. It's still real world - poor people rape, murder, steal and cheat all the time without having any need to - but leftists hate this. They want poor people to be on their side in a war against the rich, so it's extremely important for them that poor people are presented as universally noble and kind and rich as evil monsters. The "evil poor person" collides head-on with leftist orthodoxy.

4) You have a right to, and should choose, who you want to help. You don't have to reach out a hand to or help assholes, even if they are struggling. You can choose if you want to help someone depending on whether you think they are a good person or not. This also collides with the leftist "Noble Poor vs Evil Rich" narrative, as it implies there are situations where the rich can justifiably choose to withhold their wealth.

You will see enormous amounts of hate for this book. Instead of attacking it on the grounds above, they will use indirect and obscured attacks - "terrible writing, really bad writing, awful book, very bad" etc. But there's many far worse written books in the world they say nothing about at all. Only this book can generate such an extreme, burning vomit-torrent from them, for the reasons above.

The points/messages above should be quite obvious really and not controversial at all - but the book makes people reveal themselves by how strongly they react to it.
