Should I?

>chair force

No user, you are the loser.

Well, being a pilot is quite different from being on the ground.

Also I heard it depends a lot on what job/MOS you do. Ask on the military forum.

Congratulations with your success so far.

Cut back to 40 hours per week and spend 20 getting a trade certificate, retard.

>debating joining the air force.

Are you 17, 18, or 19 years-old? No? You can't join.

Why not?

Thought about that too

That picture.... the problem isn't just that they gave the guy $3 for 20 games. It's the fact the dumbass took it. That is exactly why greedy companies keep doing that is because you keep letting them. If no one sold games to gamestop for them to keep charging 300-400% what they paid for it then they wouldn't be doing that shit anymore.

its a picture i grabbed off facebook to use for this thread, calm down

Untrue. They take people all the way up to 25 without question. It is after 25 that it starts to get hard to get into any service branch and 35 when it's impossible.

Just see it out.
You are there for a degree, not to walk with the degenerates

For the air force the BIG question is your ASVAB scores. If you score high in certain areas then you will have a good pick of the best technical jobs. If you score low then you will have one of the shit jobs forced on you. The main problem is when I say you will have a "good pick" it means more than THEY will have a good pick. You still wont really get a choice. Sure they will ask you "what would you like to do in the Air Force?" and show you all these nice jobs. But in the end it is really according to what AFSC the Air Force needs to fill.

>I do nothing but work, drink one beer, and go listen to a concert every now and then.
>this is what it's like to be a man.

Senpai, rather than join the airforce you could probably McNeck yourself. I bet your taste in music isn't even good, probably some sort of rebel country bullshit.

no, its trap and bass music

BAN FUN

>joining the air force
air traffic control

Good worker ant. Work work work, such is the life of a good man.

>This is what its like to be a man, none of these fag college students know
So are you doing a degree whilst working or what? Cause you should finish the degree first, it guarantees you a position in officer training school (providing its not liberal arts).

>joining the military
Train and join SF reservists. You get the same training, looks good on future CVs, chicks dig SF, you only get deployed as part of counter-terrorism or if a proper war breaks out and you'll have a guaranteed position in any police department. You also get the option to go full time if you enjoy it and you're below certain age thresholds (something like 32).

>working 60 hours a week because your friends are faggots
Drop it by 10-30 hours and work on bettering yourself.

Give it a few years, you will be back sucking cock again. What is it with you faggots doing something for 2 weeks and suddenly you're awakened

One of the big burn out jobs. Seriously even in the Air Force where the workload is fer better spread out than in the civilian world it is a high stress job. In the civilian world where there is 1-2 ATC where there are supposed to be 3-4 the workload and stress load are MASSIVE. There is a damn good reason ATC usually burn out and are given early retirement after just 15 years in an industry where the retirement (earlier than most careers due to the mental acuity required) was at 56 years old.

Every generation has its aspirations of what is cool and what is not. You dream of becoming the cavalry of our generation. Air-force will probably become obsolete as we know it. Anti-missile systems, drones, pilots at-the-ground, will almost counter-act the advantages an aircraft used to provide to a military force.

>men
>air force

Join the navy.

A degree does not guarantee you a position in OTC. It is just one of the major the requirements to get into OTC unless you get a special waiver which is next to fucking impossible. Just being a college grad does not mean you will be an officer that is a fucking lie.

I mean, I work a shitload, but I have all my bills paid, all my debts are paid aggressively and on time, I havent lived at my parents house in years, I am sometimes broke and do have some debts but I have no major financing problems. I also drive a car that i've wanted for years.

I look at an old highschool friend...25, lives in his moms basement. He gets $100 a year for christmas, $50 of it goes to magic cards, the other $50 to random $5 basement punk shows throughout the year. Compains and says these shows should be free. Doesnt believe in work, rejects masculinity, says that he doesnt have a gender. Is into empowered feminists that dont shave anything except their heads. Lives in his moms basement, watches anime all day, leaves than less than once a month, has 5 big ass tom cats that piss and shit all over the place. His sister lives upstairs who macho bro-chad boyfriend recently got her into heroin, theres nothing he can do about it. Looks down on people into physical fitness, "The patriarchy", and any outward forms of masculinity.

The way I see it, theres one of two paths you can go in this life. I'll take the high road.

Is pic related true?

In the UK I just traded in 12 WiiU/3DS games and got £130

The Air Force still manages those systems you know... It wont obsolete the Air Force it will just change it focus as it has started to do already.

oh yea, and forgot the biggest part. dude hasnt had a job or sex in 4 years.

In the US it is because idiots still sell the stupid shit for low ass prices and GameStop eats it up.

Actually I've a friend that had a lot of trouble getting in to the British airforce at 23. Had to jump through a year of hoops.

Hell they even gave him 50% towards laser eye surgery because his left eye wasn't accurately 20/20 vision, and they made him drop to 10% body fat. Pretty wild year for him.

user, less than point zero five percent of everyone who enlists or signs a contract (officer) with the airforce will become, or has the ability to be a pilot.

No, military service is about the gayest shit anyone can do. It's also a socialist GDP increasing scam, go travelling or something. Killing children for Israel is retarded.

i finished uni 12 months ago and i've been in full time professional work ever since

life sucks just as much though, you fucks lied to me. i've thought about military service now for a while. i've got a good income sure, but i've gained weight, lost contact with friends and my girlfriend says i'm no fun.

Consider all branches and what you may do in the future. Kind of like college or better yet a trade school. Example: medic in all branches gives you an opportunity to gain an EMT certification on the civilian side. As far as I know the Army is the only branch that requires it, the other branches still give you the chance to test out on it. MP does not transfer at all to being law enforcement, you would still have to go through civilian traning. Any military experience stregthens a resume. If you can fet through college and be an officer. Other medical routes, especially the air force, can get you an associates degree. So do your research and have lots of questions for different recruiters

My bad, left the commie flag on from lurking a Russian thread.

Perhaps you should take a hobby that you can becone good at? Like painting, or playing the piano? Joining the airforce is not the only option available user.

>Everyone except me is a loser
>They are having fun,but im not cause im a man

Hmmm you seem to be the common denominator here.

The thing is, no, they are not having fun. They are miserable in their existence. They have no purpose or meaning, they dont know what it is to work hard and provide for yourself.

>Just being a college grad does not mean you will be an officer
I said it'd get you into the school, which if you aren't a fat fuck that can do a basic fitness test and don't have a criminal record, is essentially a guaranteed spot.

Seems like you are asking for orders. The military would love you.

Hey user, You should totally do it. It will be a good life experience.
