He does compare logistics and reserves quite a bit though. Chinese logistic capabilities are far superior in the theater where the war would be fought, and the Chinese army vastly outnumbers the Russians, especially in terms of what will actually reach the battlefield.
He doesn't compare things like doctrine or tactics because those can't be predicted in advance, and in many cases their quality is subjective. Whereas the superiority of China's Air Force isn't really questionable, especially in a war that takes place far away from most of Russia's airbases.

He considers this in the video. The point is that you don't have to. You just have to feed them far enough into Russian land that they grab hold of enough to claim victory, while simultaneously cutting road and rail lifelines from western Russia to Siberia. The video doesn't model a total war between Russia and China because only a complete idiot would attempt to wage a land war across the Russian hinterland.
Just admit it Ivan, Russia would not in any way be prepared for war with China. Russia's entire grand strategy is still geared towards war in the West, the bulk of your land, sea, and air forces are thousands of miles from China. The point of Russo-Chinese diplomacy is to keep the peace between the two powers because neither has much to gain from fighting the other, but unlike in previous times where the Chinese may have feared losing territory to the Soviets, it's now the Russians that have to fear the Chinese dominance in East Asia.
