Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage and the socialist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

I can almost understand the economic argument for socialism at times, but then I don't understand why subscribe to the marxist-leninist strain? Why not be leftcom and try something different? I know there are many other schools like leftcom, ancom, trotskyist 4th internationalist, etc. But it still seems most still adhere to some form of ML, despite how it historically turned out. It kinda turns people off, I just don't understand the appeal.

While not perfect, the capitalist system is good since it is based on meritocracy (as in a doctor earns more money than the guy that picks up trash), so people will be more likely to do useful jobs and invent things since they are better rewarded for it. On the other hand, the gommunist fairyland has your average gyppo acting like he's working on the same level as the world's top neurosurgeon... So why would anyone bother doing stuff such as innovation when you can do jack shit and still get paid the same.
