Daily reminder that if we put a cap on earnings of 1 billion and shared the rest to the advancement of societies, literally every problem on this planet would be solved.

>gibs could be gibben and blm would finally shut the fuck up
>"refugees" could live in their home countries as they would be rebuilt almost instantly
>no one would have any debt
>cancer would be cured within a few years
>crime would be almost non existent
>no need for left or right political viewpoints to even exist when everyone is happy and has no reason to intrude on each other.

>implying anyone needs more than 1 billion dollars anyway

This is the final red pill, whether you like it or not.

Barely anyone makes more than a billion a year in cash. Capital gains don't count. Today you have $30 billion, tomorrow the market crashes and you lose $20B

>implying humanity couldn't create a system where investments over 1 billion have to be sold within a certain amount of time. The oversight of investments and selling of them could be controlled by public services such as healthcare, emergency aid, technological research etc

Then either the companies couldn't be controlled by their founders and major shareholders, or they simply would never become large enough to do something meaningful. That means no SpaceX nor iPhones for you. You're too idealistic.

spacex and smartphones comes under technological research m8, so they would be provided the money to do these things

>wealth redistribution is the ultimate redpill

Actually, suicide is your ultimate future if you're this fucking thick.

You realize that in order to liquidate a stock someone else has to buy it, right? Stocks aren't just an ATM. Only people completely ignorant of the financial industries say shit like OP.

Not only that but if you took 100% of literally all the wealth from anyone with over 1mil you wouldn't even fund the governmental costs for an entire year.

hello shlomo

Thanks for the bill "i make fallacious arguments but look at how white my teeth are i must be good guy" whittle video

Because if earnings past 1 billion were seized those producers would just keep on working to make the extra billions to be redistributed... Actually no, they wouldn't.

Please explain how showing that taking 100% of the wealth of all the fortune 500, top 400 billionaires, and any money from all households earning over 250k to show how asinine our spending is is fallacious.

but then any labor incurring more than 1 billion dollars of wealth would never be performed.

You are giving the most productive members of humanity no reason to live.

>implying someone like Elon Musk wouldn't

Believe it or not, there are people that want to improve peoples lives without a financial incentive, if you bastards weren't such godless heathens you would too.

Giving the cronies and the zionists no monetary incentive would provide room for the people with cavalier intentions.

They'd just split their corps so that each one earns less than 1bil.

For instance: Walmart would split into a supercenter corp, neighborhood market corp, pharmacy corp, distribution corp, etc etc until each one was below 1B. Anyone that thinks the rich don't do everything within their power to legally circumvent or defer paying taxes are stupid.

No one needs a billion dollars. A million dollars is more than enough.

i like the idea and it's not something from outer space. Progressive tax rates (90% of the world) are a thing and the concept it's the same

Why 1 billion? No one person needs that much. Why not 1 million? Hell, most people never need that much. Why not $500,000? Do all people need the same? Why don't we just have the government distribute what each person needs? Yhe government will take all labor and earnings and distribute as need demands.

Oh....wait. that's right. Marxism doesn't work. Welp, back to the drawing board.

It does not work that way

Most of those billions are fake anyway, it's just unbacked obligations and stocks (a bubble), which means they'll tank in value as soon as the billionaires try to cash out

That could be made illegal, hell a large proportion of the money could be spent on creating laws to make sure this sort of thing doesnt happen.
I agree but i was being reasonable as i know Sup Forums is so supportive of crony capitalists

>but that wasn't REAL Socialism

>this guy thinks we can send men to the moon and be on the verge of creating artificial intelligence but not sort out nepotistic elites

top kek

>That could be made illegal
How?

Daily reminder that only a delusional faggot thinks like this. Do you even remember Mike "the king of chavs" Carroll? He won £9.7 million and pissed it away in about 3 or 4 years. Also why do you think people will do incredibly time consuming or difficult/high pressure jobs if they can't work for a wage that they decided

you guys have taken too many black pills. If we can work out the structure of DNA and create an atomic bomb, we can do this.

>implying everyone would be given millions. Everyone would be given a set amount and if they piss it all away then fuck em.

>Also why do you think people will do incredibly time consuming or difficult/high pressure jobs if they can't work for a wage that they decided

Why would they need to do those jobs when the money poured into tech research has automated 90% of jobs anyway?

So you don't have a real answer. It's just supposed to work itself out. The only option is "you can't conduct business with that other corporation because we think you're essentially a subsidiary of them" in which case there are 1,000s of ways to circumvent that.

Not to mention the legal precedent that would set. Soon they'd start using that law to ban competitor X from doing business with Y to hurt their competition and further their own interests.

These issues are never binary one dimensional problems that no one has ever thought about before. Yet every dipshit wandering out of high school and into the real world thinks they're a fucking genius with the answer to everyone's problems, when in reality they're just as dumb as they think everyone else is.

>he thinks the elites are just a bunch of nice guys who want to make a bit of cash and not cronies

Of course i don't have an answer, i don't have a degree from harvard in economics, and i doubt you do either. The first step to fixing problems is believing that you can, otherwise why do anything in life? We must at least try (and no communism in the 60's doesn't count). We're now in the technological internet connected age. It's time to take another look at these problems and at least TRY to fix them rather than just saying "can't be fixed, we're all fucked"

>he thinks the elites are just a bunch of nice guys who want to make a bit of cash and not cronies
What?

>The first step to fixing problems is believing that you can
No, the first step is actually identifying the problem, and its cause. You've done neither. You just started a thread with some retarded Occupy rhetoric while saying how your magical idea would fix everything. You literally said it would cure cancer.

I'm not a pessimist, you're just completely delusional with a ridiculous pipe dream with no grounding in reality.

Sup dr. Evil. A million is nothing in today's world
