Haven't they a fuckton of problems of their own, like corruption and hundreds of millions of mainlanders dragging them down? In some aspect, they look like a modern nation but are really just stealing shit, they can't seem to invent anything of their own even after decades of modernization.
They've been expanding their influence quite a lot, especially in places like Africa, but with no credible force or projection capability to back it up, it's going to be a mess when the nogs eventually turn on them as they always do.
