There are grains of truth to what people have to say against leftist, SJW ideas. They're goading right-wingers into taking a hard-line, inconsolable, and stubborn stance on issues right-wingers feel sympathetic about. They want us to become figure heads and radical for our cause so they can bash our opinions for an empty sense of self entitlement, because they're sad or lonely that their life isn't the ideal, perfect representation of what their own idelouges preach and attempt to force on the population and the world at large, ad nauseam. They want to kill right wingers.
The problem people in opposition to their ideals face is the rampant, unrelenting harassment and death threats from the left for holding an opinion contrary to their world views. All anyone on the right has done--is to go down the path of logic of what the left actually wants, based on empirical evidence and observation. It is textbook fascism: no different than any other time in recent human history where fascism has taken hold and those in opposition were silenced and murdered. What the problem with this is--is there exists fascism on both sides of the issue. Leftists want to murder white men for whatever reason they can come up with, and alt-righters want an ethnostate. The snafu arises when people stop trying to get along, when they stop trying to find solutions, and resort to murderous intentions for holding an opposing viewpoint. Anyone of any sanity knows that this is clearly not the solution, yet powerful forces who should be benevolent and neutral pick sides (the media), in an ideological war funded by entities who do, ultimately, want a specific end goal that results in the destruction of specific, important groups of individuals instead of coming to win-win situations for all parties involved.
I'm trying to stand center but I see grains of truth in both sides of the argument, and what's worse is that in such a virulent political climate, taking sides, or being perceived as taking sides, has potentially life ending consequences that people who are not qualified to handle such a burden become exposed to and victim of, and people like myself are not willing to sacrifice our lives for such a trepidatious cause. There's nothing "manly" about being assaulted or killed for something that some extremist perceives to be an inadequacy.
This entire post is written in defense of the United States. That we can continue to be freedom loving and patriotic. This post is my duty as a citizen in self sacrifice as a means to unite us for the good of everyone. Let's keep the great experiment running. There's no need to further compartmentalize and fracture over issues that we haven't even tried to address. Our enemies want us to be in conflict with one another. Let's show them we're better.

Didn't read any of that, sorry. Just popped in to say how gay I am right now for all you hot twinks ITT. Breed my hole

Call me crazy, but I see cause for optimism.
We are more engaged, and though we drink from the river Lethe, the fourth estate is foundering, knowledge is more available than ever and a large number of us are educated enough to think critically. Perhaps I'm too focused on some demographics, but I'm hopefully this is broadly true.

I will read this and respond, just let me use the restroom quickly. I like these kinds of posts. =)

nice horseshoe theory essay, retard

I think you probably only get your info from like minded places. Venture outside your comfort zone. See what the leftists are talking about, compare them to yours. The normies are in the middle somewhere

i miss when the main political issue in america, that everyone could agree on, was that our politicians sucked and needed to work more in the direction of being a truly bi-partisan, cooperative government.
Yeah this "race war now" shit has done an amazing job of totally shoveling all the real bullshit that we face under the rug and off the radar. And we have a new president who has such more significant things to worry about.
Jace Cooper
I get what he means. He thinks we're more engaged. I see that it took until a few days ago to figure out that Heather Heyer wasn't even directly hit by the car. So that speaks volumes about how plugged in and observant our modern era is. I think people are as disconnected and distracted as ever.
Joseph Young
your whole arguement is flawed because you dont know what right wingers want.
not all want a white ethnostate, due to the same reason there wont be peace on earth. Its impossible for us to kick all the blacks, chinks and jews.
What right wingers want is for everyone as a whole to stop being degenerate for a second, grow the fuck up, become responsible for their own actions and man up to their failures.
Simple as that, let me say what I want to say, how I say it faggot and tits or gtfo.

>It is textbook fascism: no different than any other time in recent human history where fascism has taken hold and those in opposition were silenced and murdered. I think this massively exaggerating the power of leftist opposition and in addition it feels like careless use of the word "fascist." You would need to provide solid examples of left groups murdering people for their opinions to make this case otherwise it sounds like melodramatic hyperbole. I agree, generally speaking, that conservative views are becoming less socially acceptable, but that diagnosis has a bias. Most people still receive their news from cable television, with internet sources a distant second. The problem with both sources of media is that they distort our perception of real trends among "common people." They are inclined to aggrandizement because their income depends on views and viewers are attracted to what they perceive to be big news. What I'm getting at by stating the obvious is that things are not likely as bad as the internet or TV make you believe (in terms of division on issues, importance of issues, etc).
I think it's inevitable that people will continue down this path until moderates begin to take control of the conversation again. We must limit our exposure to media, to TV, to Sup Forums, all sources of radicalization and isolation rather than rational thought. You can only get that from discussing your ideas with other humans face to face, however uncomfortable that may be for the parties involved. In that way, a common ground or at least a clearer understanding can be gained.

I agree with you. What about that politician who was shot recently? Was that not done by a leftist fascist? I agree with the rest of your post btw.

>educated enough to think critically Thinking critically is a difficult skill that isn't so easily gained because knowledge is more immediately accessible. A skill must be practiced. It must be sharpened and worked on and critiqued so that it may grow. Look at the "hot issues" of the last election and explain how you think people are knowledgeable or thinking critically about the economy, immigration, health care, and foreign policy. These are not topics that a day or a week or a month on wikipedia will allow you to master them and claim you know what's best, but people do so every day - here, on facebook, to their coworkers, wherever. There is a difference between having access to knowledge on a given topic and BEING KNOWLEDGEABLE about a given topic. Too many are confusing the two.

bump you aint gonna push this thread out with spam nig nogs.

Sounds like you wanna sit on the fence so things run smoothly. That's part of the reason we are in this mess

You say we are in an ideological war, this is true. Some of the issues that are at stake are very basic, like our right to self determination and free speech. These are issues that we have to fracture over. There can be no compromise or moderate response. In Europe we have people going to jail for twitter posts!
For too long people have been happy to accept anything as long as things run smoothly. It's one of the reasons why the Rotherham abuse situation was allowed to happen. Likewise the massive undocumented migration to the USA. How can we not compartmentalize and fracture over these issues?
Jack Walker
We can't, you're right. Fuck the left.
Connor Martin
It's the same for them too. The issues have become completely polarized. It's why the moderate voices have lost power and influence. You can't be moderate if you think one group are nazis. We will see further polarization and fragmentation. We are at a crucial time in terms of demographics , which is why we are seeing every thing come to a head now.
