>i'm in early 20's >virgin >Have had some mental struggles in the past >Unable to control my worries and emotions >Family advices me to go on antidepressants, can't handle my outburts elsehow >Antidepressants leave me with permanent cognitive, neurological and erectional damage >Can't even think straight anymore, emotional issues persist, I'm a total mess >Can't plan in my head, feel like I have been "blinded" in a sense >Father lets me sit in my room, is afraid of me and can't find me a real way out of this mess. He's too weak to help his son.
Can any of you give me advice?

Completely anecdotal so take it with a grain of salt. Found a great deal of my mental illnesses were reduced when I started chugging water when I wake up. Half a liter or so generally. Catch is that it has to be the first thing you do when you get out of bed. Before you do anything, chug some water.

Get an icon of Saint Cyprian or Saint Ephraim the Neo-Martyr and perform an akathist to whichever.

I'll try this, although I'm not too optimistic as I drink water regularly throughout the day and when I wake up

Have you gotten off the meds yet? I did 2-3 years on SNRIs and getting off them was one of the best decisions I ever made. I don't know if I have "permanent" damage done from them but they certainly made me gain a lot of weight and they lowered my sex drive a ton (but its slowly recovering, and I'm slowly losing weight).
All I can say is those pills arent for everyone.

make oily fish like salmon and sardines a regualr part of your diet and get out into the early AM sunshine regularly.. also do that barefoot on the bare earth to ground ... find a source of clean unfluoridated water and sync your sleep/wak cycles to the sun..
stay away from Blue lit screens of mobile devices, smart TV's and computer screens after sunset. replace any LED bulbs with Halogens and dim them after sunset

Measurement is everything in this case. How much do you generally drink, say, within the first five or ten minutes of starting your day? Within that first five minutes, chug down the two cups of water. As close to half a liter as possible.

Yes man. Been off them for 4 years. They have remodeled my brain and I am not even sure what kind of damage they did (There are other people like this too if you look up for PSSD you'll see, it's not made up as it shares specific, common symptoms)
I was on them for only 2 months but I still feel like they have their effect on me
