I've heard that but i don't see it myself. All i political related from channels that has gotten some if not all their videos demonetized or non political entertainment related to weapons, mechanics, economics, engineering, survival, prepping, war, wood working, hunting etc and the occasional tv series that i've actually searched for myself.
My recommended site is basically Sup Forums mixed with /k/,/out/ and /diy/. Exactly what i watch and not any SJW shbit at all.
And i get a lot of wheeraboo and Sup Forums related things to, things that regularly get removed
