There are lots of part time low wage jobs in Tacoma and Olympia. If you are skilled it may be different. Almost all the jobs here are part time.

I don't know where you are from but the people here are the unfriendliest people I have met in all the US except for Missouri. I've been to every state. If you tell me what you are looking for I can tell you where in Washington is best for you. All the cities here are very different from each other.

Southern California was great. I lived there for 3 years in LA. Everyone was really nice and really pretty girls and everyone was up for a party whenever.

Going to Tacoma because wife's family is there and her mother died. She has two young siblings now and their dad works full time. Going up to be near them and help out. Not going for career advancement at this point.

College City. Probably one of the better cities in Washington.. but ALL college students and close to Canada. It's... ok ish

Try to move to the north end of Tacoma, anything north of 6th ave. Proctor/Point Defiance, etc. Olympia is literally a giant hippy/homeless tent city. I hope you don't have to commute on I-5, its a fucking parking lot during rush hour.
