I like Shapiro in small doses. His nasally voice and rat face kind of grates on me after a while. He says some really great things some of the time, when he isn't praising Judaism and Israel.

Antisemitism is not smart. It is also used to radicalize parts of the right and left that are fighting against the neolibs/neocons. There is nepotism among wealthy diaspora jews, and there also are in higher circles more nefarious things going on. This is not just limited to jews, though. There are jews fighting for what is decent and good, and so far Shapiro has not let me down. He is one of the best shock troops out there for the traditionalists and new right as far as talking heads go. Seriously he obliterates people. I wish more people on /pol saw this. Do not hate entire groups of people as if they are individuals. That is like when people talk about /pol as one person. It does not work that way.

Yeah Beethoven has no depth of soul like Bach. Kant was truly a genius, but he was the last of the classic philosophers. He pretty much sealed it up, and after him nobody could really probe further except for the existentialists. That is just my extremely uneducated opinion, but yeah that is how i see it. Both were right that Kant is fucking ridiculous to read. I have had to actually reread segments of his works four or five fucking times just to get a handle on it. This is why I need to go to University. Sometimes teaching yourself can be a problem. It creates that situation where you know just enough to be dangerous.
