MSc in Biochemistry here. We don't oppose science. We reject (((science))). Nobody with above average intelligence would deny for example gauss distribution of intelligence and niggers reaching 80 iq points on average. Also nobody would deny that intelligence is genetically inherited. Or the the common laws of physics, chemistry, science of nature in general.

According to Atheists science is pretty much a method used to disprove the existence of God, Atheists only acknowledge science whenever it comes to disproving God but other than that they couldn't give a damn about the scientific method, Atheists don't believing in God because of their innate love for science, they simply don't want to adhere to God's absolute standards for morality, majority of Atheists are narcissists and pseudo-intellectuals, they always say "Muh science" and they treat science like a religion and think that science is 100% infallible and we should worship it and never question it.

Science doesn't tell us the root cause of anything, it just gives descriptions that match measurements. If those descriptions/models of what's happening are accurate enough they can have predictive power.
