Are you sure that's exactly what you were fired for, is there any other reason you may have been fired. If the only possible reason they have for firing you is the fact they learned what your political beliefs are, then you do have a good case for wrongful termination/unfair dismissal.

If it becomes a straw that broke the camels back, however. Your case becomes extremely shaky as they can frame it as incidental information that had no real effect on your firing.
