No. I want a future with a eugenics caste system. The base race is preserved and pedigreed. Another bread for physical labor, strong and docile, another for intelligence, smart but weak, another for creativity, imaginative but neurotic, another for war, aggressive and loyal, ect. But you can't necessarily create someone with the scientific advancement related traits of a British person by mixing various specimens in a lab. Better to keep the British you have left around.

By far the later argument, the first argument whilst being patriotic at the least, has a few flaws. One major spanner to the works is that by keeping a races strengths you also keep it's weakness, defeating the purpose of creating a "stronger nation". By mixing the races you can eliminate some flaws in the other races however other issues could rear its head, going on the theme of dogs, the German Shepard or the Border Collie are great working dogs and have been bred to work into late life, however both breeds suffer devastating arthritis that can immobilize the animal ultimately creating a life of pain, there for by mixing the races you can eliminate large issues such as arthritis in the Collies case, on the flip side by creating show dogs such as Pugs and French Bulldogs they suffer life long breathing problems such as asthma and even can be skeletal deformations blocking the nasal cavity restricting airflow. So in conclusion that in human beings mixture of the races has no immediate effect apart from social discrepancies however in the case of dogs it's proven great for some breeds but devastating to others.
