I'm in Sarasota and we haven't had a storm like this hit for the past 70 years. Most of the NOAA spaghetti models have us in the path of the eye. If Irma keeps tracking west and gets into the Gulf, the warm water is gonna make it a Cat 5 again. There's no way my wood frame house is going to survive, but I don't have the funds to evacuate. The high school shelter is full already. I'll probably sit it out in my car. This sucks.
