I mean Idk what ill get from this post, but it's not really because they are black, but poor. It sucks but in the last 50-100 years a lot of minorities were left in cities deteriorating as richer (white people) left.
This isn't really anything new, and yea it does create a stigma for black people but it really should just been seen as poor underprivileged people and not a race thing. It just happens to be more black/minorities are poorer because of past events. A lot of them were taught at a young age to take advantage of situations to improve their life. And for them they don't get many opportunities to do it in "correct ways". Maybe i'm wrong, but this is an experience growing up white in and near east side of Cleveland.
We are getting better as a society though. More money is being spent in inner-cities to try and improve the quality of education and life for young people. It's something our nation really has to work on and strive for.
I really dislike the divide we are seeing. It felt like for 8 years we were kinda moving along but recent elections has brought out the worst in both groups. The media doesn't help either. Most people just want everyone to get along, at least my generation does. It's what we were taught as kids, growing up in schools with a lot of diversity.
If I'm wrong on anything please let me know, I just felt like posting this because idk.
