It's not like they were going to share their wealth with the rest of society. They work for them self and their family not for you. They most likely would not care if they read in the news paper that you died a horrible death, they just be happy that it wasn't them. Since they don't care about you, there is no reason for you to care about them, unless you are relatives or friends.

I think it was part financial crime, part terrorism in that it was meant to traumatize an entire nation that had never seen anything like that before.
