A College of Magics by some person I forgot the name of. Been studying accounting a lot recently, so I've had significantly less time to read it. Afterwards I was going to read Atlas Shrugged, since I heard it was a good book.

YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. LEAVE.

I'm planning on reading Charles Maurras.
He's quite famous here in France, but I realized he's anti-semitic as fuck, which made me wonder why we still even hear about him nowadays.
He's anti-democratic though, but that could be an interesting counterpoint to a democrat like I.

I guess I'll also read Mein Kampf at some point.

pretty sure ive been here longer than you

I'm pretty sure you're a huge fucking faggot. Get out.

de schaduw van de folteraar

Legacy of Ashes by Tim Weiner. Complete primary sourced history of the CIA, well written, reads like a spy novel except the main characters are completely incompetent.

You just posted an image from my favorite book. Orlando Furioso.

Honestly the most underrated writer of the 20th century. A genius in every sense of the word.

What do you think about distributionism? I don't know much about it but I'm starting to think Sup Forums should get into it. It's really focused on traditional life and values.

>shadowbanned
this isn't reddit faggot

It's a great concept which I unfortunately don't think will work in our highly industrialized and globalized world. It works best in small, rural, and agrarian communities. The core of the idea is that it's a bottom-up approach to government, meaning that local and state governments should supercede federal governments on most issues, with the federal government primarily reserved to establish a unifying constitution and providing for national defense. Distributism isn't necessarily the right term for it--it could be more appropriately termed subsidiarity, which is kind of a jarring and obscure word so it's why it's commonly referred to as distributism. The fact is that we've had distributist ideas and groups before. The medieval guild system serves as the model for distributism. Basically, each person is a member of a particular guild. They join the guild and are given access to clients, services, tools, finances, etc. to utilize in their trade. Using these tools, they can then provide services to those they need, with the guild taking a cut and then the individual taking his profit. The original intentions of unions was similar, but distributism disavows the idea of class-warfare, instead opting for free market participation through collectivist means. The stock market, prior to the large influx of regulations, was also distributist in theory. Distributism should be looked at more seriously, especially in regards to the social, moral, and traditional aspects of the philosophy, as it's primary purpose is to ensure the protection of the family and the community--on a highly regional level--rather than only the individual.

To go along with DIstributism, look into the Burkean contract. They go hand-in-hand.

I don't read much but I'm looking at getting Dangerous, Digital Photography Month by Month and the new wings of fire novel

Caging the Dragon

By James Carothers

Really interesting read

...

E V O L A

Reading the core three ? (Ride the tiger, Hermetic traditions, Men among ruins)
Evola the existentialist is far better than evola the mystic imo. Because I found Guenon's approach to esotericism and mysticism to far surpass that of Evola, even if he ultimately became a Muslim.

Heidegger's interpretations of Nietzsche's works. He really bites down into what's up with Nietzsche's"esoteric" writing in Thus spoke Zarathustra. If you've read that one then Heidegger gives a pretty interesting perspective, if not completely new or revolutionary.
