It went up this time

I take it that everybody dropped this?

You said this last week. I'm always here for this series.

Next time don't make the thread so early.

Well, at least it's having good ratings.

For once, I'm grateful for Japan's shit taste. Maybe they'll adapt T&T and AJ at this rate.

>5.7 is good

in what universe

>Pokémon XY & Z TV Tokyo April 21 (Thurs) 18:55 30 min. 3.7
>Pokemon has higher ratings than Yo-Kai Watch
Weird.

It's pretty good for an anime. Remember that most anime air very late at night where even the most widely watched late night shows are lucky to rate a 1.0. Even kids shows which air at more convenient hours don't always get super high ratings (for example, Aikatsu and Naruto air on the same day as Pokemon but have lower ratings).

>Sazae-san Fuji TV April 24 (Sun) 18:30 30 min. 12.0
Next year they're going to stay under 10%.
They may well get cancelled for the 50th anniversary in 2019,

It's in the top ten.

>Next year they're going to stay under 10%.
Why?

Viewers are literally dying, they don't get young people to watch it.

That's Only in kanto region mostly around 500 household though.

The data in the op kanto region only

OP and Super to the max brother brosef

About 3 and a half more hours until today episode.

Dee Vazquez at the trial already?

Is this case going to be 2 episodes?

That's a preview picture for next week episode, "Turnabout Samurai Last Trial".

They better not fuck up Gumshoe's scene. It's also a perfect chance for his theme to play.

is this ranking even a good idea?

A lot of what Sup Forums is interested in is only first broadcast on MX which is not available in much of the country. Also, very close re-broadcasts on alternate stations are popular.

Also some are prime time, well nip prime time of about 6pm (Sazae, Maruko), and some are sunday morning shows (Dragonball, Precure).

This ranking irks me in so many ways.
Into the fucking trash.

>A lot of what Sup Forums is interested in is only first broadcast on MX which is not available in much of the country
What Sup Forums interested doesn't matter in Japan and the series which are ranked almost always non-late night ones which rarely talked on Sup Forums with some exceptions.

Late-night series are very unlikely to be ranked since the kids viewership is either zero or really low.

30 minutes

>Ace Attorney NTV April 24 (Sat) 17:30 30 min. 5.7
is this good or bad? how good or bad is it?

It's good. It's a new series after all.

IT'S TIME

Oppai Maya

Stream where?

10112

So much original content in this episode.

Why did they remove 70% of the case?

It seems they moved Cody testimony into here instead on the trial.

>they fucked up Gumshoe's scene
>no Gumshoe theme

Why

"Tadashi....."

ALLEGRO THEME

You know this adaptation is butchered that Oldbag and Cody are the best characters of the case.

Those extra scenes are making me like Oldbag a bit more. I don't think I'll say the same thing when Lotta shows up.

What's with this original content bullshit? Sal and Cody are supposed to be in the trial.

Oldbag is always the best girl in this series.

Will they add memes and chat speek to Sal's subtitles? Will CR put in the effort?

Piss off Sup Forumsermin.

>Oldbag is the only character that is well done
>Oldbag of all characters

What happened Sup Forums?

>Original content
Al least they add some scenes for us, Maya shippers?

>What happened
You ignored Maya and Nick

Oldbag and Will are recurring characters.

>Mayoi is in the ED
>She always hangs around the MC
Animeonlyfag here.
Why is she still here? I mean, didn't her story already end? Normally you'd expect her to go back to her own place or something, right?
She is the only character in the ED. Is she the main heroine, the romantic interest or something similar?
If Mayoi is still here then it means this old woman, the guy who is accused pf murder right now and this little boy will start to hang with the MC as well?
Any character that the MC save will be his office member just like in Persona 4's story or what?

>Is she the main heroine

Yes. She's also his assistant and a fan favorite.

>>Is she the main heroine
So she will end up with him? Okay then.
>his assistant
She doesn't seem to have any knowledge on law though. What does she help him with? From what I've seen so far, she just accompanies him around the crime scenes. She doesn't seem to be doing much.

Wait for the next case to address Mayoi's lack of help.

>So she will end up with him? Okay then.

Not explicitly in a "By the way, we're dating" sort of way, though it's obvious he cares about her a lot.

I take it that everybody dropped this?

Everybody is sleeping right now, hooray for Saturday morning cartoons.

I am teh L33T DIR3CT0R!

>so few people still care about this that nobody will shitpost about the subs this time

No burgers though.

At least it had lots of cute Maya as usual.

How long until this happens?

My worst fears have come true. It's a nightmare that I can never wake up from.

While Phoenix is the one running the Wright Agency, Maya is the one who got the office from her sister. So she takes care of Nick.
Not to mention, she can channel her sister.

And her story is also far from over.

Pearl please leave this place.

What did the original dialogue have instead of the l33t sp34k?

One thing that's always annoyed me about PW games is how often "the path was blocked" is used as an excuse.

As if people couldn't just walk around whatever is blocking the road. It's like they assume anywhere that's not a paved road is off limits.

In Los Angeles walking on the grass is punishable by law

Is this suppose to be funny?

Nice trips, Mami. And it's not weird, it happens like half the time nowadays. YW isn't the ratings juggernaut it was in 2015.

what

That's also how he talks in the games

Jesus, This is awful to read.

Kanto is 1/3 of Japan's population. Most ratings reported are just for Kanto.

Well, to correct myself, he only appears in one case in one game.

I'd like to know this too. If it was just japanese internet lingo it'd make sense they'd have to use the western equivalent here.

She likes the booty.

Unnecessary feelings.

Is Cody's VA Meat's?

Oldbag appears in a lot of cases. So it makes sense theyd put effort in her chatacter.

It's decent. It seems a bit bellow the last show in the same timeslot (Kindaichi Case Files), but not by much. Kindaichi's ratings also were good enough for it to get multiple seasons there.

It's definitely doing better than the last show that aired between Kindaichi's seasons (Ultimate Otaku Teacher).

Only a few more weeks until JFA episodes start and we get to enjoy "wonderful" things like Phoenix with amnesia, Pearl shipping Maya and Nick, and the circus.

>Ishigami, Shizuka

Yes

Pearl a shit.

It's good they dropped the fetch quest entirely and focused on deducing things.

Gumshoe's scene wasn't as heroic as it was in the game, but it never made sense that Dee didn't go to prison already after what she tried to do to Nick and Maya.

>Penny is basically demoted as a background character

Shit adaptation.

It did have the japanese equivalent of l33t speak.

She's kind of just hanging around in the first game, but her importance becomes clear when they start adapting the cases based on the 2nd one.

Some other characters do pop up again, but none just stay around all the time like Maya.

Blame yourself for picking up pointless waifus.

Eh. There's no way they'll waste time with the amnesia case. It's just a tutorial.

Is it just me, or are the OC scenes in this series consistently really good?

First the whole "let me defend you / please defend me" scene". Now in this episode we have Maya getting Phoenix to stay up all night watching all of the Steel Samurai, and then Phoenix using that to give a speech to Cody about righteousness (which Oldbag eavesdrops on and convinces her too). That's way better than what the game did (e.g. the trading card fetch quest). It's developing Maya's/Nick's/Oldbag's character, foreshadowing what happened to Hammer, and getting all this done quickly without feeling rushed.

Also Nick tucking in Maya.

>It's definitely doing better than the last show that aired between Kindaichi's seasons (Ultimate Otaku Teacher).
Might as well read the manga for that. The anime is faithful to the manga but the animation is really bland.

>Phoenix with amnesia, Pearl shipping Maya and Nick, and the circus.

one of these things is not like the others
one of these things just doesn't belong

I'm gonna watch it to the end, no matter how bad it is.
Also I want to see franzy and pearl.

>Is it just me, or are the OC scenes in this series consistently really good?
That should've been the whole adaptation. The director is pretty good with OC scenes rather than the game scenes.

why is Maya so cute

>not wanting the return of the best prosecutor

No spoilers please but I have finished the last case of 2nd game recently and was wondering if any cases from the next few games come close to how great it was.

What exactly is Maya doing here?

BRIDGE TO THE TURNABOUT

It's a matter of debate as to which of the last cases from the first three games is the best.

Last case of JFA is considered one of the best.

But people also love the final one of T&T.
