The sad thing is that the manga art actually looks pretty nice. If they stuck with that artstyle AnH probably would have sold more. Also, they probably could have also simply made a live-action adaptation, rotoscoping was a bold move but it didn't really work out in the end.

Akiha, Kohaku, Hisui, Ciel and Satsuki look good in the remake. Arc is now Saber in a different haircut.

I liked the designs of everyone else in the show. They all looked different ad unique, and that was pretty cool. But thee main girls' designs were kind of pissing me off. I kind of hate their mouths mostly. Looks like chipmunk teeth.
