ITT:

Shows only you've watched.

Both the anime and the manga are pretty damn obscure. Dark Horse was releasing the manga in the US, but those incompetent assholes stopped at volume 6 or 7 and never looked back.

...

...

...

Literally everyone has seen these.

...

...

I don't even remember what the actual story was about. I came to see the PLOT, but even that didn't save it from being boring and making me drop it at episode 3

I NEVER see anyone on Sup Forums ever talk about Ghost Talker' Daydream. Every time I bring it up to people they don't know what the fuck it is.

One of my favorites but I have never seen it mentioned by anyone before.

One of the comfiest I've ever watched.

...

The Mega Playboy dick game was crazy

newfag

One of my first anime and still one of my favorites.

you baka

Saw it. One of my first. I had a huge crush on her.

is this a prequel to re:monster?

...

But anonymous, I watch overrated garbage every season.

...

>He hasn't actually seen Monster
But no it's not
>But anonymous, I watch overrated garbage every season.
This isn't moe of the sesaon user.

Yo.

I still don't understand how a show relying mostly on gore and fanservice still managed to be this decent.

Nice comeback. Still have never seen a thread up talking about it

...

Yo fuck off, Shizuka is mai waifu nigga.

...

Best snake

you're trolling me, yes? no one is this dense

I got a hard head

Oldie but goodie. Too bad I never see it discussed.

Don't worry user, I really liked monster too.

Woh

I wish she would drown my fish.

Dokuro.

>Shows only you've watched.
>posts monster

user, literally everyone who is at least 25 years old and is watching anime since his teen years has watched Monster. It is necessary to watch it so that you will be able to evolve.

If Death note is the ultimate newb friendly "here watch this" show to make someone like anime.

Then Monster is the transition phase anime, it is the anime you watch to refine your tastes, you watch Monster and suddenly you start being able to tell the shit anime from the good.

And then you watch Gankutsuou, this is when you transcend, this is when you are finally able to tell that Monster is not the masterpiece you thought it was and that Tehxnolyze is shit.

At the end of your journey, you look back and then you realise that the time you spend watching anime wasn't for nothing. You look back and you finally say to yourself "yes, i watched code geass and i enjoyed it for what it was, I still get goosebumps when i rewatch Gurren Laggan, i still cry when Tomoya and Ushio make that trip, and Going Merry will always be my Nakama."

Monster is a great show though.
Not surprised its barely ever discussed on Sup Forums.
Its nothing "Out there" or "Dazzling" and also doesn't cater to the children crowd or "moe" pedo fandom shit either.

Clannad sucked, Code Geass was overrated, Monster was merely okay, and what the fuck is Gankutsuou?

You're right about Monster though, OP's newfaggotry is real.

>Doesn't evem know what Gankutsuou is
>Calls someone else a newfag

Ebin

>i've been here since the beginning
>seen hundreds of animes
>coincidentally haven't heard of one obscure anime

been here in the stone age but you apparently have no trouble falling for bait designed by a 9 year old

>Gankutsuou
>Obscure

Stop

Loved this, even the J-Drama. Certainly made me want to try Japanese Whiskey, and I was right to, 17 year Suntory Hibiki is tremendous. I just hope to have opportunity to try some more

>says the guy responding to me
trolls trolling trolls homie.

prove me wrong.

I fucking love Monster

This comfy had threads every week when it was airing. What are you on about?
Hilarious

...

>Gankutsuou
>Obscure

A quick check of MAL puts it just outside their top 500 putting it's obscurity around shows like:
>Redline
>Higurashi
>Kara No Kyoukai
>Black Lagoon OVA's
>Planates

>This isn't moe of the sesaon user.
Obviously not, moe is good.

>prove me wrong

Gankutsou is fairly well known, just not mainstream.

if we go by your limited anime knowledge Lucky Star is obscure, so i don't need to prove shit.

>since the beginning
Yeah, sure.

>ITT kids thinking they're a special snowflake

I know I'm not the only one, but I feel like fafner is probably a correct choice, There's a pretty high chance for a new movie to be announced soon, and the thread died in like five posts.

SHINY DAY!!!

I am so glad Japan got over it's environmentalist phase

...

ITT: Overrated shit

This is not that obscure
Try Hot Milk by the same artist(Kenji Nagatomo)...now that is fucking obscure

Rave Master, fucking DEEN

>Monster was merely okay
get the fuck out with this meme you fucking hipster
monster was a masterpiece and you know it

Shaman King

Fuck off.

Fuck off

>twelve hours of the anime is dull side characters
>masterpiece

>>twelve hours of the anime is dull side characters
>>masterpiece

itt faggots pretending to be hipster for cool point in Sup Forums when they know monster is an utter 10/10 masterpiece

This show was comfy as hell. I watched it a week ago during finals week, and it was a good stress reliever.

>Higurashi is becoming obscure
What in the fuck is going on

Dude sauce!?!?

It's really weird to watch stuff fade. I mean, remember when every kid and their dog had seen Shana?

Not that obscure, but I agree it doesn't get the amount of attention it deserves. One of the better twists in anime too.

There are a lot of scenes in Monster that are subtlety brilliant. I absolutely love the scene where Inspector Lunge gets into a house where someone had a copy-cat murder trying to blame it on Tenma/Johan, and we get to see Lunge's thought process and reenactment of the murder, which is just brilliantly done. The action scenes are nice, but the simple quality of the normal scenes is what I love about Monster. It has dozens of good characters, and most of them are pretty unique.

What dull side characters? Just about everyone gets tons of development and become great characters. If you want to complain about the format, it should be "Tenma shows up at the end of each arc for a couple minutes then goes away again", not "there are side characters".

I bet the only people who even know about this are SEAfags who saw this on Animax.

Nice recommendation thread

I understand what the anime was going for, but the manga was infinitely more comfy.

Sure feels like it
