Why was this arc so best?

It wasn't focusing on gon or killua

Zeno and Silva vs Chrollo was miles better.

I liked op's pic. He seemed like a badass, and really did not seem evil either. Was sad that he died (especially in the way he did.)

It's fitting that HxH is at it's best whenever the focus is on absolutely despicable characters.

You mean this arc?

He does kinda murder random innocents for no reason. But to be fair in the HxH verse that doesn't even really qualify as evil.
They are a Riot

Mah nigga

...

It was second best but still amazing thanks to the tension and atmosphere, charismatic characters like the troupe, and some seriously stand out scenes (like Uvo vs Pika, the kidnapping, Gon and Killua being discovered tailing Nobunaga and Machi, Hisoka and the fortune telling, the requiem, etc).

Focused on the best MC
Had the best group of villains
Had the best fights
'99 adaptation
The atmosphere was amazing

Really, what's not best?

this is a suspiciously positive hxh thread

wow 2011 satotz is so shit compared to the entire 1999 anime, fucking retard

Because it's the arc where nen gets fleshed out as a whole.

> Best MC

Hisoka was pretty great yeah.

Because Kurapika is the best protagonist

>Hisocucks

that's Kite

No, that's Kurapika (male).

Nigga got fukken rekt.

I don't understand the hate greed island arc gets. it had one of the most moving character developments. it basically fulfilled the purpose of its creation not just for gon, but for the rest of the cast too

also
2011>99 binolt

>(male)

it was pretty shit until razor

Source: Yoshihiro Togashi.

Read the manga.

Greed Island is great, it's just less good than the others because the bomber is a mediocre villain by Togashi standards, and some people don't like training arcs. Still, the dodgeball game and final fight are some of the best parts of the series.

I have, nowhere does it say that Pika is a boy.

Don't make it so obvious that you haven't read it.

Stop talking shit about my waifu you jealous nigger

He's referred to as a shounen in the original raw manga, literally every character refers to him as a boy, and he denied he was a girl during the yorkshin car ride. Not to mention in the recent chapter Bisky (who loves boys) became infatuated with kurapika.

>2011fag and Sup Forumstard
Incredible.

>Sup Forumstard
now you're just making shit up
Listen here you faggot, i'm going to make Kurapika into a girl when i'm done with him.

You're still retarded, but at least you admit Kurapika is a guy.

>Last twenty episodes of the Chimera Ant Arc

Pretty sure I could feel myself dying slowly except for the Netero fight episode.

>episodes

But OP's pic is from the show.

The shitty adaptation gave me a stroke.

I wish.

The 90s truly were the golden age.

The more Anime I watch the more apparent this becomes.
It's really a shame

I'm right when the spiders start suspecting Hisoka as a traitor.

For the most part Yorkshin has been kind of boring.

>Animeonly

>implying I won't read the manga after finishing the anime

HxH has recent chapters?

Yes, Chrollo is fighting against Hisoka at Heaven's Tower.

There is literally another thread right now with art from them, how out of the loop are you?

Recently started watching Ninku.
Pretty Togashi esque as well.
So brilliant, I miss anime before it all just became digital art.

It all depends on the studio and how well it's animated. It's a preference thing and I can respect that, but good animation is good animation digital or not. But I will say I do enjoy traditional animation because I'm a fucking dork.

Yeah.
Kurapika assembled a squad of Melody, his Nen teacher dude, Hanzo, and the moustache dude he was a bodyguard with to infiltrate this group of princes who are on a boat to the Dark Continent.

Meanwhile Hisoka and Kuroro are having a fight to the death in the Heavens Arena.

>forgetting best girl Biscuit

The Troupe was the fucking best. What was the name of their leader again?

Kwroruru

Steely Dan

Fuck bitches, get money.

*Dan of Steel

Damn Matsushima truly was at his best in late 90s

implying Ais give you a sharingan power

what sharingan would be more powerful
Kurta Clan or Ai

Wow '99 really wanked Kurapika hard huh.

I'd love to wank him desu.

Give me two examples where "he's" referred to as a shounen or any other explicitly male term and I'll cut my dick off on stream.

Yea, though only in yorkshin. The ova was more focused on Pakunoda.

Oh god the memories. The tension, great characters, fights, the whole vibe and atmosphere. We're not getting shounen like that or anime adoptions like that ever again.

My Hero Academia.
Also, Makoto Raiku (Gash Bell, Doubutsu no Kuni) just started Vector Ball in Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Also, One Piece is currently the best its ever been right now. It's been rough since the timeskip, but Zou onward has been brilliant and is looking like it will stay that way with what's coming up. Oda feels very invested right now.

Helck is in Weekly Shonen Sunday's web magazine but it's brilliant. It's BerserkxYu Yu Hakusho, with a One-Punch Man esque beginning arc.

Also, Hinomaru Sumo is a sports manga but it has the hot blooded charismatic charm of some of the best 90's sports series. It's up there with Ippo, Slam Dunk, and Eyeshield.

One is enough, the old lady calls him a cat eyed boy here. Go set up that stream now faggot

I asked for two, you dumb shit. Show me something aside from an irrelevant character's internal monologue.

Where can I find the 1999 version?

lmgtfy.com/?q=Hunter x Hunter 1999 stream

>stream
this better be bait

Off the top of my head, he uses "ore" in the chapter 343 raw, when he's talking about pairo.

I'm not going to keep arguing about his gender with you though. If you want still to headcanon that he's a girl, even after reading the recent chapters, you do you. I don't care.

First post gets it right

personal pronouns mean jack.

You must be furious that everyone misgenders Kurapika then, including himself.
