If you were expecting more supernatural things, nothing specially magical will happen until the flying whale.

I'm not expecting fast-paced magic action, I'm expecting each episode to at least have /something/ magical happening, which had happened in every one before this one.

Be careful what you wish for. I recall something very similar, Mahoutsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora, which also was a SoL about blending magic users with every day life. It's super relaxing and fun for most the time, then at the very end the show pulls out one of the biggest melodramatic twists I've seen and it suffered greatly for it.

I'm hoping Flying Witch remains as it is.
