It felt like they had too many ideas and had to rush the story to fit everything in.
>that motorcycle scene with the song playing
Favorite part of the show for me.
this just makes me depressed
I'll fight you.
More like they felt like they were trying to create an "serious"/"artful" anime without having the screenplay for it. Everything about it felt like ZnT is the very definition of an overdirected show. It's like they expected it to be awesome just by having the Space Dandy/Cowboy Bebop guy as director.

Seriously, what the fuck happened!?
Not him, but that song is good and the show is awful.
Man, don't remind me.

The show is ok at best, but the openings make it look fucking awesome.
>tfw you'll never wear Kubo's clothesline
I just want to be /fa/
>tfw you stopped following anime around summer 2014
Did I miss out one of the best or worst anime seasons?
You didn't miss out on anything
Such a shame.

The whole OST deserved a better show.

how can such a shit show have such a great op/ed
Anyone else hate that psycho shota stock characters? I couldn't stand this show because of that faggot. Same with Valvrape.
I love how Sora no Woto copied that OP.
The motorcycle scene was far better than the show, I still think about it sometimes because it was so cool
So good that choirs sing it

God tier OP but goddamn was this show boring.
Poor engineer loli stuck in that pile of crap

The Elfen Lied OP is literally one of the most pretentious things I've ever seen out of anything in my entire life.

I still have to watch the movie
I think that's what makes it memorable as a gateway anime. For me it was the first time I saw that anime could be "dark" and pretentious and shit when all I knew before was sailor moon and pokemon. It may be a shitty show but for someone new as fuck to anime in the mid-2000's it will always have a place in my heart.
Pandering to hikis. Literally everything wrong with the show can be linked back to b one production meeting or another where someone asked, "Okay, but how can we masturbate the egos of failed Japanese manchildren even more, in order to maximize body pillow sales?".
Seriously what the fuck is up with the girl crawling on all fours? The flying scene still gives me chills and I watch it for that alone, but still.
your lie in april is actually a really good anime and you are a tastless faggot
this is really the only true answer, though Bleach was actually quite good for awhile
If they hadn't rushed through everything it would be a solid 9/10 AOTS candidate. Instead its shitty plothole-filled trash
Does Nagare's betrayal make sense in the manga?
More sense, but it is still a bit forced.
They skip 10 chapters or so involving Ushio developing his connection with the spear at the beginning, that makes the arc where they meet Nagare/Beast Ushio shows up feel jarring.
I'm sure they skipped other shit, but I dropped it

I like the colors in this
I love how much of a dumbass you are. Elfen Lied's opening is based off klimt's kiss so saying that Sora no Woto ripped off Efen Lied is like saying Elfen Lied ripped of Klimt.
Nah this show was great
The only thing S2 did better than S1 was the opening
What about EDs?
>tfw bleach never reached the heights of the first three seasons again
delet dis
>tfw reminded again that this happened
GROOOOOOOVIN' MAGIC!
THIS SHOW IS MEDIOCRE!
