Great premise turned into blood superpowers.
It's the average case of an author coming up with an interesting idea and then continuing it as something unrelated and underwhelming instead of just letting the thing be a one-shot. I'm sure you've seen plenty of manga like that.
First you have a kid blamed for the murder of all his classmates sent to some fucked up prison. You get super pumped because you want to know how this normal kid is going to survive, solve the mystery, find a way to get out and prove his innocence.
Then suddenly, lol blood superpowers, prison actually has an area where we people fight with blood superpowers oh and you don't have to solve any mystery, it was that person who also had blood superpowers. You were expecting mystery and suspense? Have some battlemanga blood superpower battles.
