Well if someone went and bought the rights to the series they probably have some kind of plan for it. I'm glad the game is still being supported, I originally thought the devs just abandoned it

Well, the devs abandoned it, but as someone already said, there were some people with enough money and love to buy the rights and relaunch it as de R-. They talked about their plans to launch a new version (de R+) at the beginning, but it's been so long since then, that I should have lost all hope by now. But hey, they just updated the game to support a new android version or something, and the twitter accounts are still active, so at least we know there's still enough love in them to keep it alive.
