Australian and British Early Warning Radar (JORN and PLUTO II, respectively) get picked up on 8992 an it's "OMG! RUSSIANS ARE FARTING AND PLAYING PAC MAN! IT'S WAR!!!!!"
For a group like Sup Forums who have never even dialed in a fucking FM radio in a car, it's best to just send them to park on a redundant frequency that is more clear of interference.

I put down people lacking knowledge of understanding the propagation of RF from using a frequency prone to interference from listening to that frequency since they do not understand said interference while I point them to a "cleaner" frequency where they are less likely to interference that they think is "jamming" (thanks to Hollywood war films).
