>getting mad and calling your political enemies "communists"
You know that AI and automation will replace every service sector and transport job right? We are at the brink of the greatest upheaval in human history. Unemployment will skyrocket out of control faster than it has EVER happened before. Free market capitalism is already a zombie, all the economic assumptions that go into it are being turned on their head. Only a tiny, hyper-productive fraction of the population will participate in the economy. What will the rest do when they no longer can afford food, medical care or any other luxury? Capitalism simply will not work in the future. It's time for us to figure out what should come next.
Communism will be the death of humanity. We need conflict and struggle. Even if communism were viable(and it's not) mankind would grind to a halt. We would become as useless as the average qhetto dweller within a few generations.
Tyler Smith
>I like star trek and especially data so I'm going to blogpost on Sup Forums and use an image of him to make me look like a superior thinker to a board of people that are actually better than I am at being a human... ...the post.
Connor Rivera
You cannot dispute that capitalism will die. The alternative does not have to be communism, but we do need an alternative.
Thomas Gomez
Robot teachers Robot surgeons. Doctors Robot nurses Robot wives with robot wombs Robot manufacturing and mining. Robot cars and airplanes Robot ships
Etc.
James Ross
We will simply declare AI systems to be "unbodied persons" and give them the right to vote. Capitalism will go on, with or without humans.
Joseph Cox
You cannot dispute that capitalism will never die. Every other system for distributing scarce resources is in practice nothing more than varying levels of thuggery.
Noah Russell
Why would the robots produce if no one can buy it?
Capitalism required consumers sooo basically everyone will get paid to stand there and watch the robots. I'm sure the people on top will have an ever bigger percent off the overall money. But there will always be some kind of job for the suckers on the bottom. Even if it's just to give people money to consume the crap the robots make so the king pin and still make more money
Anthony Cruz
>implying the elites won't cull us immediately when the field tested proliferation of weaponized nanotech is ready to go Oh, my sweet, beautiful prince. Don't worry baby, "imagine" no more war.
Jaxon Phillips
Communism isn't the final solution. As money becomes decentralised, governments will fall. This will either result in some form of techno feudalism or pure anarcho capitalism. The outcome depends on just how dependant people are on authority at the time of governmental collapse.
Justin Ortiz
you do realize once the automation really hits in full swing, they'll just kill the majority of plebs off with a pandemic flu?
Dominic James
How in the fuck they will make money if people can't or don't need to buy their shit you moron, and yes you are a literal communist.
Wyatt Carter
Great arguement
Levi Davis
You fucking communist. Get out of here retard.
Lucas Jones
Pretty sure the only way these robots will be invented is to make some capitalist money.
Go back to making gigantic nails no one uses because the government pays you based on weight of nails produced commie.
Jackson Rogers
The future will still have capital but not much ism.
Capitalism still exists even in Star Trek. Remember when Jake tried to buy an authentic rare antique baseball card?
The point is there are resources that will always be scarced which adds to their perceived value.
Cooper Cox
>it becomes incredibly cheap to make things >how can people afford things Communists are the dumbest motherfuckers in the universe
Caleb Taylor
>Figure out what comes next
Capitalism will fix that too.
Jonathan Allen
>Capitalism simply will not work in the future. It's time for us to figure out what should come next.
Commies have been saying that for 150 years. How about waiting to see if it really doesn't work before mindlessly killing 100 milion people?
Jayden Lopez
sargon of akkad, but he doesn't probably even know about the existence of Star Trek
topkek either way

"Never allow family to stand in the way of opportunity."

So why do we need open borders to fill the slots.

Life. Forms. Where. Are. You?

Humans who cannot serve a purpose in society should be put to pasture.
Alexander Adams
If automation is coming, why do we need cheap immigrant labor?
Anthony Gray
Mercy killing en mas is next.
I know because im supposed to be part of c112 when shtf.
aka grab all the good shit from ded countries.
>imigration is just some elites sperging out about preserving inferior cultures before the culling
Parker Sanders
That's exactly the point, Capitalism cannot survive. The rich will not start paying people unnecessarily and will not stop accumulating wealth. That would leave them at a competitive disadvantage after all. Things will get worse and worse until they change, and we should decide now what we want that change to be. We need to conceive of a society that can survive this future, or else the world will fall back to chaos and feudalism.
Jeremiah Edwards
Capitalism will survive. You may know it by it's old name. The Trade and Barter system.
Easton Gomez
Gotta get that gold-pressed latinum Anybody got the merchant quark pic?
Jaxson Roberts
This. Don't think anyone is going to keep you around with UBI. If you are disposable, you will exterminated.
Lucas Wright
If all humans die out, what's the point for machines to produce things?
Levi Jenkins
Then why do niggers still exist
Caleb Allen
For now... divide and conquer. Heterogeneous societies need to be broken and controlled via while the elites complete their plans. Think crabs in a bucket, while the fisherman gets his steam pot ready.

>You know that AI and automation will replace every service sector and transport job right? When they make a robot that can move like a human, think like a human and can weld like a human, than I have something to be afraid of.
Basically, my job is secure for my lifetime. No robot can do my job as is. It requires too much free thinking and physical movements....Current technology and future shit pretty much confirms that office workers and accountants are the first to go. Infrastructure will be the last field to go to automation.

As long as I can own private property, I am happy. Unfortunately this ultimately excludes socialism or communism, since there is no private property. If you think otherwise, you dont know what you are advocating for.
Chase Gonzalez
Yes but there's a problem with your assertion since your great upheaval is not here yet.
The communists of today would not be claiming the wealth generated by a robotic workforce but the wealth generated by a human workforce without their consent.
