Old school Japanese comedy.
Show is harmlessly mediocre but it garners hatred due to it gathering Japanese homolust fans and the show creating more fujo bait (read less CGDCT and more blatant gay shows alongside bland shonen and "dark" shows with tons of homolust bait).
Could be worse: Show could be as nightmarishly bad as SAO and force a wumbillion clones that are better than it but they all manage to be more boring.
