I don't think so. She's pretty much the last available opponent and with Tatsumi and Akame having their final opponent it seems fair for her to kill the PM. Though she will probably die while doing it.

Kinda. Tatsumi didn't do shit to the Megazord until he got a powerup and PM wasn't strong at all in the anime, but he had a anti teigu ring.

This is how this shit is gonna go. Leone is gonna take PM but lose because his teigu has a trump where he burns all of his fat exchange for superior physical abilities and hopefully he rapes her. Tatsumi defeats Empmech by burning the rest of his life away and becoming a bad dragon. Akame fights Esdeath for a bit but is overwhelmed until Tatsdragon rampages and Esdeath gets her fight boner for Tatscaflowne and fights it. Being resistance to time stop and freeze, Tatszoid will beat Esdeath and Akame ga kill.

She's one of the protagonist, that's as important as you can be on the "good" side.

Onest and Suzuka vs Leone and Budou makes more sense.

Quite a lot of Teigu in the series have some sort of energy/resource limitation, like Koro overheating, Esdeath only being able to use her time freeze once a day, the time limit on Incursio's invisibilty etc.

He also did hit people though, we saw him zap Leone, gut punch her, swat Akame and deck tatsumi.

Pumpkin's whole thing was that it got stronger depending on the danger she was in, and her emotions. It's a pretty reasonable weapon to have grow stronger during a confrontation
