Is there an easy way to view anime by year?
Thomas Young
WAKE ME
Julian Scott
I did, and it was complete eyecancer. I don't see how you could prefer that over 90% of the thigns from that year.
Joseph Sanchez
Yes, idiot.
John Cruz
House of Five Leaves is painfully underrated.
Christian Clark
>sasami-san as much as i hold that show close to my heart, just no. it was definitely garbage.
Cooper Miller
Sakurai Takahiro?
Justin Clark
>Scryed >Best anything
Cameron Martin
Agreed, Kingdom was trash tier compared to what was airing
Dylan Foster
>holding a show close to your heart yet calling it garbage
Despicable.
Gavin Russell
Haibane Renmei is s snob show.
Ayden Wilson
Digibro has arrived. *cool entrance music plays*
Ethan Butler
Pfft, like what. Psycho-Pass? Gimme a break...
Gabriel Kelly
It's normal. I enjoyed a lot some dumb shounen sport anime, but that doesn't mean I think they are a masterpiece or anything like that.
Gabriel Diaz
It's a pretentious fucking attitude to take.
Nathaniel Garcia
You can enjoy things and still have a critic mentality, that's not pretentious, it is normal. You can laugh at toilet humor, and yet still know that it isn't the best type of humour out there.
Jayden Green
>dumb shounen sport anime Aren't most sports anime pretty smart? Generally you have to know a lot about the sport to write about it. The ones that don't are just plain bad and unenjoyable.
Carson Powell
Alright, so you just called it normal to have a "critic mentality." Interesting. Furthermore, you suggested that there is an objectively "best" type of humor. I say this with the utmost respect, but do you have brain damage?
Hunter Wright
Eh, KnB was pretty dumb. I enjoyed the ride though, reading the last chapters with Sup Forums was fun.
Andrew Baker
2012 wasnt a bad year by any means. You had Psycho-Pass, K-Project, some new Gintama, some JoJo, Another (didnt really like it personally but know more than a couple people who did), Kuroko no Basket, Natsume, SAO for the Malfags, and all kinds of other stuff i cant remember off the top of my head. Kingdom definitely wasnt the best of the year though

>2003: Narutaru Jesus why.
The rest of the list is alright but why that?
Owen Bell
While it needlessly changed some things from the manga and has the general drawback of ending before anything was really explained, unlike most people I still think it did a good job at capturing the mangas atmosphere.
Jack Barnes
You missed the part where he liked Madoka over Steins;Gate and picked Parasyte unironically
Mason Hughes

>2015: Shokugeki no Soma Only read the manga but did you guys really enjoy it that much? Its decent but it's just generic shonen but with cooking.
Zachary Gutierrez
Anyone who doesnt say Re Zero for 2016 is a faggot in my book. That being said i could easily see how it could go downhill very fast Boku Machi style
Hunter Hernandez
Shows the kind of people we have posting here that DISLIKING the S;G anime is considered bait. It's a piece of shit anime compared to the VN, deal with it. You have no reason not to have read it instead of watching it unless you're just a lazy asshole. It's been in English for years.
Cameron Taylor
That's why it's good. It plays with shonen tropes by applying them to cooking, and does a great job of it. The anime also adds a lot of flair and a god-tier soundtrack.
Only one of those people said it was bait, pretty sure the other two just think you have shit taste user. Also you didnt say you "dislike it" you said it was the most cringy embarassing anime of the year, with that kind of hyperbole it sure does sound a whole lot like bait
Elijah Foster
I must clarify some inaccuracies in this thread as part of my job duties. Pic related contains Sup Forums's Official and Objective AOTY's.
Don't bother me about this. I'm an official, certified Sup Forums Arbiter of Taste; it even says so in my name field.
>2013: Sasami-san@Ganbaranai You'd have to be the biggest SHAFT slurper to think this is true.
Justin Sanchez
>Spice & Wolf You have good taste user
Jeremiah Robinson
Well I'm not the first user in the first place but I can see why he'd call it cringy. It's an embarrassment to the original work and it's cringy to like it when there's a far superior option out there so I wouldn't say it's an exaggeration.
Dominic Torres
This is not me ( ) btw.
Tyler Powell
>Kanon
I was just hit with a huge wave of nostalgia. God damn this was a long time ago now.
Jordan White
Thank you for pointing out that the person talking about Shokugeki no Soma is not you. I'm sure a lot of people were confused, and this really clears it up.
Leo Davis
I'm seeing people complaining about the show as if it's the worst thing they've ever seen but I'm not seeing anyone explain what's actually wrong with it.
Michael Hughes
You didnt think the last three episodes were garbage? 1 The big finale was trash 2 They squeezed Airi out to just haphazardly toss her back in last second 3 They kept the cuck in despite not setting up for Airi end like they should have if they were going to keep it Not to mention a million other things they fucked up, but ya thats the reason it's all but forgot amongst the seasonal winds. They could have had something truly great if they had just stuck the landing.
James Foster
I'm glad you appreciate it.
Joseph Nguyen
Psycho Pass wasn't AOTY either, but it was a hell of a lot better than that Kingdom abortion. Even that one QUALITY episode they had to apologized looked better than the average Kingdom episode.
Ryder Hernandez
Okay, so you're using one of the worst possible example of a 'sports' anime and assuming it represents all of them? I see now where the misconception comes from. Watch something like Ace of Diamond - that's what a real sports anime looks like. And most of them are closer to that than Kuroko, which is some sort of magic superpower battle anime masquerading as basketball.
James Perez
Either some very elaborate samefagging or Sup Forums isnt being an elitist asshole for once
Dominic White
Name a good anime made after 2011.
Aaron Watson
Honestly, I'd say the best sports anime are the ones where the actual technical sports stuff is minimized.
Zachary Ramirez
Then you just don't like the genre.
Gabriel Robinson

Michael Rivera
11 was kind of eh, but mainly because the amnesia thing was boring. Perhaps it's because I really could not care less about this cuck nonsense. 10 nailed the big revelation perfectly, and 12 was downright beautiful.
I think the problem most people had with it is that they did not realize that Yashiro is best girl.
Nathaniel Thompson
>all those - >only studios for two of them
Luis Johnson
You sound like the kind of person who only watches anime ironically because you're looking for some "dumb fun." You're the type who refuses to recognize something as art because you can't fathom a cartoon as being more than just for children.
Nathan Martinez
>salami Yeah, no.
Samuel Edwards
Are you braindead? Yuru Yuri of course.
Ayden Bailey
I disagree, the genre has plenty of stuff like what I just described.
