Watashi inai machi

What is this anime about again?

something to do with time travel and cucking?

It's about a cuck.

Cucking

Cuckholdry?

the cuck that leaped through time

everytime i see the poster for this i'm reminded of now and here then and whatever it was called

Unfulfilled potential.

Harem self-insert written by an incompetent writer

it's a crime drama

>there were people who thought this shit was good

So glad its over.

>it's a crime
It's a crime it got aired at all. Crime also isn't a genre FYI

it's about a guy given the gift of time travel to prevent his mother's murder. instead he tries and fails to romance little girls

Disappointment the anime

What is the purpose of all the hand holding?
Doesn't it automatically: handholding -> kissing -> marriage -> children?

About a fucking mistery so fucking obvious that even any of you fags could notice.
Also NTR.

After all these forced memes, I don't even know anymore

>AOTS of MAL and reddit normies
>Sup Forums shitters believed the same until the MC became cuckold

ay

just kill me already

That is actually pretty close to an accurate description.

It took Satoru 9 episodes of planning, courage and handholding.

How did the mushroom do it?

I don't remember any other anime from that season.
Like Prince of Stride? What WAS the AOTS if we're pretending there was any?

Grimgar

>light novel
Can't be for adults if it's a light novel

Rakugo.

Adult shows are boring. LN adaptions are always AOTS

To be fair the beginning and mid were actually pretty good, then the Director cut out Airi and decided to go with cuck end anyways shoving Airi back in haphazardly at the last possible second

The cuck of the year

>Director cut out Airi
Don't blame the director, this really happens in the manga. He majorly downsized her role in the last few episodes though.

A teacher falls in love with his pupil.

crime [drama]
drama is the genre and saying crime drama just narrows it down

>LN adaptations
LNs aren't worth it, ever.

Ah yeah, forgot all about that, I don't even know the current situation, but I assume we'll get like 10 fucking seasons of that

It's common knowledge it was alright upto episode 5.

So just shitty director and even shittier writer?

>LNs aren't worth it, ever.
Re:Zero

Yes.

Oh god please dont let Re Zero go the way of Boku Machi, it has started out so strong dont fuck it up Watanabe

>it can only be one genre
It's not really a crime drama. More like a detective but you already know whodunnit

Looks just as generic as SAO

So wait, is it shit or not?
I stopped after 3 episodes, not sure if I should pick it up again or move on

The source material is good unlike the later parts of boku dake so hopefully it will go fine.

>looks
Thanks for sharing your informed opinion.

Stop on Episode 6 or 7, enjoy the beggining and just know thats as good as it gets. Kind of like S2 of Spice & Wolf except instead of skipping cuck at the beggining you skip cuck at the end

Meant to quote

The early episodes are the best ones, if you don't like them you won't enjoy anything else the show has to offer.

Do keep in mind that it's not bad just because of some forced meme. It's bad because the writer has no skill. It's okay until he decides to solve unsolved plot-points. It's kind of like Naruto in that way. It starts out okay but then it tries to be bigger than the writer.

Always remember: a story is only as good as its writer

Care to spoil me what happens?
It was hyped up by everyone I know and the first episode was solid, but after that its just kinda fizzled down so I'm not that motivated to watch it anymore anyways

It gets retarded as fuck the more they try to build up the guy you already know is the villian. Just stop on 7 and call it a day

MC fails to save Kayo the first time because he doesn't realize she's being targeted. He despairs and then goes back to an only slightly changed present day, and meets up with Airi again. Everyone thinks he killed his mom and he has to hide since no one except Airi believes in him.

Airi shares the heartrending story of how her dad left her family in shame and never came back because he wouldn't admit to stealing a chocolate bar when accused, so she decided to always believe in people. Killer tries to burn down Airi's house, MC saves her, she ends up in the hospital as a suspected accomplice.

MC meets with his mom's reporter friend and learns some shit about the killer. Meanwhile Airi breaks up in the hospital and meets up with MC, they have bonded by now. Then the police catch them and start to drag him away, he sees the killer among the police and goes back again.

This time he doesn't fuck up, and he gets Kayo taken away from her shit mom as well. He starts focusing on saving all the other kids with the help of his friends, but the killer notices.

Killer is sensei, he lures MC into his car, gives an evil speech, and pushes the car into the water.

MC goes in coma for like 10 years but his mom takes care of him so one day he wakes up, but it takes him awhile to remember about the killer for plot convenience. Kayo visits him, revealing she had his friend's baby, hence all the cuckposting. In the anime MC is pretty happy to see she's alive and having a good life though.

Yashiro hunts him down, boils up some retarded scheme to kill a loli so he can confront MC and figure out how he thwarted all his murder schemes. Apparently sensei became obsessed with MC all these years, he gets sensei to admit he loves MC and doesn't want to kill him, then he gets arrested. MC lives happy normal life, then he randomly runs into Airi. The end.

Are you happy?

Happy, thanks for writing this up for me

sounds rather unremarkable, and the cuck shit sounds stupid. I'd rather have it predictable but well concluded, than a huge "fuck you" like that. I can see why people would get mad

The worst part is the Director artificially extents the amount of screentime Kayo gets to like half the fucking anime and really gets MC invested in her to the point it was obvious they were going to end up together. The group even cracks jokes about them being a couple. Then goes on to cuck MC by coupling Kayo and one of MC's best friends. In the manga apparently they do it on MC's hospital bed but the Director toned it all down and made MC happy for them even though in the manga he is absolutely crushed by the whole thing.

You can blame this on mangaka too, though mangaka tries a tiny bit harder to make it look like Airi is endgame. Not that much harder.
