They could start to orbit one another (if one storm is stronger than the other, the weaker storm would orbit the stronger one, if they are the same they orbit a common centre)

If they get really close (190 miles or less) they could merge OR one could get thrown off course (imagine if Maria threw Jose off course from West to North, DC would be directly in the line of fire)
