Is there anyone dumber than an unironic socialist?

Is there anyone dumber than an unironic socialist?

...

Yeah, a fascist. There's a reason all the great academics and thinkers are leftist and you are an unemployed gamer loser on Sup Forums

How do you feel being surrounded by idiots day in and day out?

What do you do for a living? Or do you w ant to appeal to authority again?

>markets enforce scarcity

I am a student studying philosophy/history double major planning on going to law school to be a public defender to help the oppressed and voiceless against fascism.

leftist (((academics))) literally accomplish nothing

...

...

>Law school to defend oppressed people.

Okay, carry on. I don't need to do anything if you are going into law with that in mind. Your yearly salary and clientele will redpill you better than anyone here could.

Also, assuming you live in the U.S. you will remember this post when tax season rolls around.

MARKET

ENFORCES

SCARCITY

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

>you're worthless if you're not a wageslave or self-serving elitist in the intelligentsia
t commie

>Public Defender

I'm so sorry. You're going to end up being more racist than any of us after you help the 9th Jerome in a row about why he "tried to pay that note with his nut even tho she screamed"

Well in all fairness Markets naturally and artificially create scarcity, even if "enforce" is the wrong word.

...

Yes, I am serious and you are unable to critically respond to it as it's undeniable.

It still surprises me how far liberals are up their own asses

Unable to critically respond? You havent put forth anything of note other than a post that is basically a "uhuh it is true"

Markets naturally create scarcity to ensure that only those that need the required item get one. We don't need a factory cranking out thousands of wallets everyday and then have them sit in warehouses all over the world picking up dust. Thats just an example as to why this happens naturally.

>everyone gets free handouts
Yep.
>we all starve
Yep.

If I have 10 meals, and 10,000 people to feed, if I divide those 10 meals among the 10,000 people, every one of them will starve because there's not enough food to go around.

Keep in mind, in reality, those 10 meals would never actually get divided among 10,000 people under socialism. According to history, I would eat all 10.

markets have made food less scarce

markets don't create scarcity, they assign value based on scarcity and demand. Markets are designed to reduce scarcity / increase supply to meet demand.

Kek textbook commie with a shitty humanities degree

also kill all the birds, melt down all your metal tools, and throw all the productive members of society into gulag

Oil and diamonds are example commodities that are inflated when the supply is controlled.

The oil supply has more suppliers now price dropped like a rock since Russia took Crimea.

Diamond industry harder to get new suppliers because of the nature of the distribution system.

These bottlenecks are usually created by monopolies which should be dealt with using anitrust to bring back competition.

That's retarded, how does a market create scarcity?

i saw a documentary on PBS when i was a kid, it was about the fishing industry in the USSR. the tl;dr of the documentary was there were two types of fishermen under communism, the fisherman who caught as many fish as he could everyday, and the fisherman who had no incentive to catch any fish so he would dredge whatever all day. the documentary went into detail about how fucked the local fishing industry became in a very short period of time because there was literally zero incentive to catch fish.

it's not some super complicated thing to wrap your head around either it's common sense, why work hard when there is no benefit, it's why there are nepotism laws.

>Markets naturally and artificially create scarcity
Where did you even get this idea? Markets are created in *response* to a need or desire. In order to create scarcity, the market would have to take something away. What utopian vision of a pre-commerce past do you have where there was no scarcity?

>There's a reason all the great academics and thinkers are leftist
the average IQ of academics is around 126, which means they aren't "great thinkers." people with very high IQs do not work in intellectually elite professions. sucks for you.

old communism meme:
>we pretend to work
>they pretend to pay us

thats not scarcity thats supply and demand. markets do regulate supply to promote an artificially high price tho, generally with luxury items(diamonds, pearls, saffron, truffles, etc.)

monopolies regulate supply to create artificial scarcity, not markets
