Your point? I never said it would be a series of GOOD movies. Fullmetal Alchemist was one of the most popular series of the 00's, both domestic and internationally. They'll have no qualms about shitting out 2-3 movies that butcher the story to draw fans into theater seats.
If FMA was as relevant to the west as it is to Japan and they had the corresponding budget, Hollywood would do an infinitely better job. Japanese live action is always cheap looking and poorly acted.

The special effects would be better. The action would be generic and mind numbing and there would be some political brainwashing that most retards wouldn't notice and gobble up anyway.
