2017 Emmys: Record Low Ratings!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the political bullshit they spew and all the anti-Trump crap? Nah, it can't be that, they should probably double down on that next year!

>Emmys Ratings 2017: Other Shows Took over TV Ratings Leaving the Emmys Behind!
earnthenecklace.com/emmys-ratings-winners-2017/

Headlines are saying last night's show rated poorly as well. I hope Hollywood maintains its course. They're only kiking themselves

>The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards definitely had a lot of talent and laughs, managing to have higher TV ratings than last year, when Emmy viewership was at an all-time low with 11.3 million. These numbers have not been so low since 2013’s 17.7 million, when Neil Patrick Harris hosted the show.
so not as bad as last year but still way lower than a success

*killing

They Emmys happended?

Yup, and "Trump's America" won the big prize.

Na. It's not the political jokes, it's that they are just the same shit. You know what they should do? Throw out a right wing host and have him say "controversial" things. Then have him host next time and see if viewership increases.

Beating the shit out of a dead horse.

Im with this guy, with more and more people not watching TV and spending more time on the internet who even wants to watch this crap? And hell if you did care about Hollywood sucking itself off you can just look up the results the next morning.

You had it right the first time.

Alright youtube, the lamestream media is dying. It's actually quite funny. I predicted this. That's about all. Peace out

>James woods hosts the Emmys

Because nobody wants to watch 2scoops and a bunch of niggerloving kikes spew their sjw propaganda.

Styx?

Like that would ever happen

"You know...TV. It's that thing that people used to watch."

>Make fun of the nations leader the entire time.
>Shun White people.
>Give undeserved awards to blacks to appeal to them.
>Appealing to a smaller demographic while alienating your larger previous one.
>Surprised when your ratings fall.
Seriously, what the fuck happened in the last 10 years to make people this fucking stupid? Was Obama's presidency really THAT damaging?

They'll just take this as they didn't shit on Trump enough

I specifically had zero interest in watching it because of Steven Colbert.

He was funnier as a caricature then his genuine persona as a talk show host.

No one's watching TV or Movies. It's all trash.

Yes

Alright youtube,
*clinks spoon*.
That's about all.
Peace out.

Yes

>Seriously, what the fuck happened in the last 10 years to make people this fucking stupid? Was Obama's presidency really THAT damaging

No. The growth of the internet and social media gave the left an echo chamber that it had never before had. When you combine Obama's presidency with the rise of social media, the left ended up in their own bubble, their own "reality". Then they thought Trump could never win and once he won, they have their echo chamber going on about what a shithead he is.

With the echo chamber online spouting the same anti-Trump sentiments non-stop on traditional media is cool too. But then it turns out a lot of people (the people outside the echo chamber) don't want to hear them get up on the soapbox.

Yeah, and Alec Baldwin got an Emmy for his shitty Trump impersonation on SNL. Awards shows are just a cabal of leftists jerking each other off.

When are the Progressive Liberals going to get out of their echo chamber and realize majority of Americans are Conservative Libertarian in their view?. Endless jokes about Trump are NOT funny or entertaining.

Maybe but social media trends can change on whim, the problem is that celebrity culture it's dying due to overexposure.

Social media whims are not purely organic because Facebook, Twitter, et al curate what is trending and what is considered a "reliable" source.. Trump's victory has only caused those at the helm of these organizations to tighten their grip on censorship, all in the name of stomping out "fake news" and "hate".

Twitter repeatedly allowed anti-Trump content to trend while represssing anti-Hillary content during the 2012 election.

This is one of the scariest parts of Zuckerberg potentially running, even if he is not officially in charge there during his campaign....is that there is not not anything preventing his cronies from shaping the context and conversation of what appears on Facebook. 43% of Americans get their news from Facebook primarily or entirely (which is a very, very depressing statistic).

>Saturday Night Live won the most number of awards—nine— including Alec Baldwin’s win for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy, and Kate McKinnon’s Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy win.

How can anyone take this shit seriously anymore?

>grace our dying show with your presence and we'll make sure you get an emmy

Anything over 1 million is a depressingly high number
