Everything about it it's just great.
I never thought that i would like so much something made by a woman. Same for Jesus & Buddha adventures.

Hopefully now that the manga has ended we get the rest adapted. But I ain't holding my breath.

Wasn't very funny and had that stupid monogatari animation style

That's just how SHAFT has been working since Moon Phase. All style, little substance.

Marathoned both seasons while baked, was fucking glorious.

Daily reminder that
Shaft=Gods

You first man, I'll be right behind you. Promise.

I'd like to see the rest in animated form, but I don't think it sold enough and SHAFT has a lot on their plate.

Not a fan of Shaft's style so I can't help but be biased against it

I didn't like it's style of humor. The joke was almost always centered around how "quirky" said joke was, it's not the sort of humor I personally find funny. The characters themselves are all atleast alright though, a couple pretty likeable ones in there even. The OP is super catchy.

Mari does things to my penis.

Loved that it actually ended and tried to explain everything.

I thought it was hilarious. Haven't watched the second season yet, but I watched it right after tons of mediocre crap and it was a blast.

>designated shaft thread

I don't remember ever having as much fun with an anime that I dropped.

I really loved it, I thought it was hilarious. Shaft did a decent job but the direction was a bit over the top at times, like they were forcing their style on a series that didn't need it.

Now I get why their backgrounds look either like simplistic stock vector images or messy kindergarden homeworks.

I wish Shinbou directed more original works. SHAFT can produce very visually interesting anime, but a lot of the source material they pick up just doesn't make for very good adaptations.

>SHAFT can produce very visually interesting anime
The novelty dies out by the 3rd SHAFT show you watch.

It was ok. Only watched it because SHAFT.

Subjective opinions. I've watched them all and still like it.
Sure, it's not very novel at this point, but it stands out over the visuals of many other studios, which can feel practically identical often.
