"The Right" is the assumption that without law, men are evil

"The Right" is the assumption that without law, men are evil.

"The Left" is the assumption that men are generally good people.

Prove me wrong.

The Left prove the Right's assertion that men are evil.

Without laws and religious morals what is stopping me from stealing and murdering other people?

Ideally, your own conscience. But we all know that's bullshit

Excactly
It might stop some people, but not all people
Laws and morals is necessary for a functioning society

If communists are considered "The Left" than Stalin would have agreed with "The Right" immensely.

yep Hitler was total law & order conservative cucktard.

>men
The Left wants the World of Men to fall to the Orc hoards

>prove this bullshit I just made up wrong

Nah, I'll pass.

You could be a functioning member of a homogenous society e.g. big family or tribe
Love and friendship bound the community together

>right looks at the world for what it is and wants to make it a better place
>left imagines what the world should be like and insults everyone who fails to see their vision

You present no logical argument for why you are right for us to debate. So since you have provided no evidence for this retarded claim, you are wrong.

I'd fuck her if she was real. Nah... I'd probably fuck her anyway...

I don't think the law is anything.

The law is just a somewhat general consensus of what authorities think is right and wrong.

I don't think most people follow the law because "that's what the law says", society is actually in a perpetual state of anarchy, its just most people's sensibilities of right and wrong that they inherited from their peers keep them within the bounds of the law.

The law is nothing more than a tool of oppression against political opponents

we will take your money to give to the poor or point guns at you, because in a free society who would enforce empathy?

I think the left is merely the assumption that men are generally utterly stupid and uncapable of recognising any thing higher than their most basic instincts.

Scary image.

Who keeps a picture of a child sex doll on their computer. An italian does.

Rouseau vs Hobbes

The left on a state level is anti-freedom and largely wants to regulate everything a person can/cant do.
Look at the laws on a state level for reference of what a leftist society actually looks like.

They want you to have a license for anything you do, doesn't matter what it is.

They want to incapacitate your own economic freedom to choose, by overtaxing you for services you don't need/want.

Republicans are the freedom party except when it comes to drug use

Leftists want to regulate and tax everything else to non-viability.

It's reversed you chode

> Prove me wrong.
Left always makes tons of ridiculous laws.
Like, right believes people will be good on their own with guns, left demands complete and total ban of all guns.
Right believes in free market, left believes in banning any enterpreneurship, leaving whole economy in state hands.
Right believes in freedom of expression, left demands that all beliefs and statements that offend them be banned and punished more severely than physical violence.

There's not even single leftist regime that assumed "that men are generally good people".

you're not wrong

She's real.
Just not alive.

You're over simplifying it. Right and left both view humans as animal. Right view animal as something to be tamed. Left view it as something to be unleashed. Truth is, humans are both animal and unanimal. The unanimal part is where the left and right differ. This part has only recently evolved and the right view it as the master of animal behaviors while the left see it as the servant to animal behavior. The right acknowledges evil as unwanted consequences of an unbridled animal, where only short term thinking takes place. The left views evil as unnecessary confinement of an animal, where short term thinking is the root of happiness and thus good, and long term thinking is meant to rationalize the freedom of the animal. Both sides acknowledge the evolutionary state of mankind while one tries to move forward and the other tries to regress.

Thread.

The law you fucking nigger

lol (((american))).

>"The Right" is the assumption that without law, men are evil.

no, the Right is a movement that supports a single ruler who is appointed by god, your representation mostly comes by way of your male relatives through their military service

the left wants a parliamentary system where a bunch of people shout and thats supposed to make you feel better about how badly they're stealing from you to build roads for poor people to walk on

Its up and down that defines nature of man. Left and right defines how resources should be spread out

the left wants to outlaw guns because they don't trust their fellow man.

The right believes in freedom because they believe people are shitty so shitty people will end up in government. It's better that those shitty people don't have power. Same reasoning applies to why free markets are better than command economies, you don't want some shitty person controlling what everybody makes.

yeah they believe people are so good that they want to force them to share
cost-effectiveness

not quite. The average gungrabber wouldn't trust HIMSELF with a gun, therefore he projects this fear onto others.

Can't you read?
Oh, right you are a fucking dirty ugly mexican

No. The right believes in freedom because it believes a loving God would not create humans without giving them freewill, which creates a necessary loophole for evil to enter reality.

this.

>"The Left" is the assumption that men >are generally good people.

Unless of course you are a white man.

>all these brainlet ideologues ITT
The dichotomy presented by OP is not bullshit he just made up. It has its origins in the Rosseau-Hobbes divide on the nature of the human soul and the role of institutions and the state in accordance to this nature. The "spectrum of left and right" comes from the first conventions if the French Revolutionary government.
Those who sat on the left of the hall being revolutionaries whose worldview was coherent with the humanist teachings of Rosseau and Locke. They believed in a state composed of individuals serving to maximize the freedoms of individuals as their philosophy was that of men being born free but being enslaved by the operation institutions if the Ancien Regime.
Those who sat on the right represented the coalition of people who intended to preserve at least some of the institutions of the Ancien Regime, because they believed the institutions of the old monarchies were necessary to maintain social order. These were men who believed in the Hobbesean state of original man: violent and brutish creatures that needed the order of civilization to reign in their capacity for terror and reorient their focus to generative behavior. The "grandfather" of the modern right as a philosophical school would be the reactionary and counter-revolutionary thinker Joseph de Maistre. It was he who stood steadfast for the belief of state hierarchy, monarchy and the church during the revolution. All these institutions he saw as necessary to preserve the order of the state lest they all fall into violence and chaos. There is a funny little response he made to Rosseau who famously wrote "Men are born free but everywhere they are in chains" to which de Maistre responded "Sheep are born carnivores but everywhere they eat grass." In short, if we observe how the civilized peoples if the works organize themselves into the strictly hierarchical and lawful states, then we can conclude that men are in fact not free by nature.

people are not that good.

Evil and good are concepts, no such thing exists. Man, as all beings, strive for power. All strive for power and the weak get trampled on, subjugated, by the ferocious in ways nobody would like to see or experience.

Take ISIS, or the Left of today, they subjugate people, take their money, give it to foreigners and tell them to shut the fuck up, go gently into genocide, or they will be jailed. ISIS has a more hands-on approach. It bashes your head in, if you do not behave. Ultimately, they are two sides of the same coin. The left in whatever form, rules by subjugation.

The right on the other hand, believes that all men will aspire to power thus laws should exist to stop them exploiting one another endlessly, like jews did to russians etc. in the 19th century and do today, financially.

All rule is the rule of the strong, but Anarchy, Communism, Religious Caliphate are the rule of the power-drunk, vicious, weak minded, who fear losing that power all the time thus punishing those below.

On the other hand, a nation of laws that end such subjugation rule via the laws themselves, be it a Kingdom, Monarchy, Natsoc state. Whatever the laws, everyone must obey them.

Might have fucked it up but you get the point.

In solitude you could be free. But then again most are unable to bear it.

You can join the herd of degenerates or walk among the virtuous few.
