This whole idea that "race is a social construct" only applies in the sense that you can't precisely identity the border, how do you classify them? The same apply for the color spectrum. You can classify them in 1 or 1000 different ways. That doesn't mean different colors don't exist. Non-Africans have an average of 2.5% Neanderthal. That alone completely disproves this theory. What they mean is that, because of mixing, you can find most white genes in mixed "black" people if you study enough of them and vice versa. They use the impreciseness of our racial labels to argue that "race doesn't exist".
