Every time I go to a Wikipedia page and find that it says B.C.E. or C.E. instead of B.C. and A.D., I change the former to the latter.
I'm bored and I fully expect 10,000 "not your personal army" replies but it'd be nice if this could happen on a larger scale.

No echoes even needed. The term was literally, openly put forward by some Jewish organization because muh feelz.

I hadn't really thought about this before, but will be watching for this in the future. It is a good point.

I do this too, sometimes. I find B.C.E. and C.E. superfluous, when B.C. and A.D. are the long-held standard manner of dating within western civilizations. Besides, B.C.E. and C.E. are used to demonstrate the same convention, but with renaming done deliberately to scrape away references to Jesus, whose approximate birth (Probably incorrect, but it is too late to change it) has been used to date for centuries.

Yes, and "Orthodox Christianity" becomes "Eastern Orthodoxy" and so on.

Stupid crusader armor is literally ripped off from Sassanian armor and cataphracts. The true religion of the West has always been Zoroastrianism, which Abrahamic faiths are all distortions and rip-offs of. The true holy land is in Airyanem Vaejah where Amu Darya river is located, a sacred river of Aryans.
I can go more in-depth in how your religion is a rip-off of my noble, superior one, but I think it'd be a waste of time for a knuckle-head like you who chooses to suck the dick of a dead kike on a stick, just like your foolish predecessors such as Heraclius.
The time will come when you will become Mithraists and/or Zoroastrians once more. Until then, continue deluding yourself, and I will most certainly re-edit those posts to BCE and CE, Christcuck. You're one step better than mudslimes but that means shit.
Humata, Hukhta, Huvarshta, bitch.

OP is doing good work. It's one of those things that make no sense whatsoever and that we let happen, the churches let happen. The argument for (((inclusion))) make no sense, it's Orwellian doublethink, when everyone knows it's about the Birth of Christ. People should read René Girard and realize how and why that was the defining moment for everyone.

This. When did the "common era" start? When Christ died? So why not just use BC?
Ayden Clark
>Adena K. Berkowitz, when arguing at the Supreme Court opted to use BCE and CE because "Given the multicultural society that we live in, the traditional Jewish designations – B.C.E. and C.E. – cast a wider net of inclusion"

Thank you for being sane. Could use some backup in the linked Sup Forums thread if you don't mind.
Think you're confused man. Or I'm just failing to grasp the sarcasm.
I'm not sure if you're being ironic or not.
Community college. Have been able to pay it off with no loans just wagecucking.

"The Abrahamic faiths are largely based off Zoroastrianism. The ideas of paradise (Avestan word pairidaēza), transcendental moral dualism, light = goodness & darkness = evil metaphors, angels (yazatas), personified evil figures (e.g., Asmodeus is based off daeva Aēšma), eschatological reward and punishment (Chinvat Bridge), Day of Judgment (Frashokereti), rigid duality between truth (asha) and lie (druj), savior of light (Saoshyant), and the resurrection of the dead (Yasna 19) descended from Zoroastrian influence. Read Chapter 7 of Michael Stausberg's Zarathustra and Zoroastrianism for the most up-to-date scholarly research regarding this topic."
"Even the word paradise has Persian origin! Paradise etymologically descends from the Avestan word "Pari Daeza", meaning enclosed garden, and it probably served as influence to descriptions of Garden of Eden."
Jace White
I know of that theory. I wasn't sure if you were being ironic in that Zoroastrianism is the "true religion." I don't claim to be a Christian in belief. I am, however, a Christian in culture, i.e. Western. This is why I made the post.
Carson Brown
Everyone can be a good christian. Just be good to your neighbours

I honestly think if Europe did not become Christian, then it would have been Roman Mithraist, which is a part of Zoroastrian tradition. Your holy lands would include Airyanem Vaejah instead of Jerusalem then. The Proto-Indo-Iranians of Sintashta culture who spread language and culture to Persians and NW Indians were White people.
It was a flaw in the course of history that you became Christians.
Christian Ramirez
Your holy lands would be around Kazakhstan*.
Christian Reyes
A lot more beautiful than Jerusalem, don't you agree? You Europeans could have crafted beautiful traditions by synthesizing aspects of your paganism with Zoroastrian/Mithraism, as Stephen E. Flowers argues. However, you chose to betray yourselves by following Semitic filth.
Dominic Perez
History doesn't have flaws, only the present does and the future potentially will. History is what it is, and regardless of what you think about our cultural traditions historical "flaws," we still belong to it and are obligated to preserve it.
Daniel Cooper
>People try to claim that time shouldn't be divided before (Before Christ) and after (Anno Domini the time that God, the creator of the universe decided to take on flesh and live within creation.
Cameron Lopez
The present is largely a reflection of the mistakes in the past, such as you becoming Christ cucks. If you were following religions that you have ancestral or ethnic roots in, then you would not be so destabilized. Sometimes it is essential to create something new or reconnect with certain aspects of the old, etc.

>being this much of a pleb The only thing you should read from wikipedia is the bibliography (so you can check on the real sources) as well as the talk page (so you cam find out if any of those sources are there because it's being used by some agenda driven moron).

>Christianity has existed for about 2,000 years >somehow this doesn't count as historical or ethnic roots I kind of do that. I read through what is written and click on the sources as they are linked there so that I can see what the courses are even about first.
