CNN is rolling out the story that Manafort and thus the Trump campaign was wiretapped.
Why would they do this? Why admit the wiretapping we all knew was happening over a year later?
Because now they want to use those recordings. Now they want to use their illegal spying to remove Trump and restore deep state rule.
Before using recordings from illegal spying however, they first have to get the public to accept that it was ok. To accept that the 4th amendment really doesn't matter if you are from the government.
This should be the biggest scandal in the history of the republic. This should spark the war.

Bull fucking shit, did you watch the CNN coverage? It instantly became a story from anonymous sources about huge numbers of Russian operatives talking to Trump campaign staff and that Trump was never under surveillance, just certain staff members who happen to be in his tower.
This whole thing was just to find another line of attack.

I'll admit that I misread. They did stop in 2016, but resumed and that was extended until early this year.
More importantly, it means that a federal judge believed there was enough evidence to believe that Manafort could be wiretapped, ie that Manafort was a foreign agent.
Except, again, it started BEFORE Trump even began his campaign, ie before Manafort was Trump's campaign manager. If Obama was somehow able to get an illegal warrant signed to watch Trump, he would have targeted Trump specifically. And if he were to do it, he wouldn't do it in 2014, when Trump's birther nonsense was largely irrelevant after Obama won in 2012.

I'll give you it could mean that, I'm not really claiming otherwise in my posts. But at this point the possibility has to at least be considered that the whole thing was a sham.

I'm going to have to disagree here. Anyone would much rather get a legal warrant to illegally target someone else as a "grey area" on an investigation. Given the events of the last year I have little faith in the integrity of any investigations they've handled in Obama's presidency.
