She was seriously ill. But details are never revealed because the Japanese consider that a private matter. You only hear details about an illness when the person is dead.

All we can do right now is hope for her swift recovery and speculah. For all the slowness that has been happening recently, I'm still holding out for some darker twists. I still don't buy the easy excuse for Mikage-sensei's 'obsession' with Takamiya-kun. It still doesn't explain why he was behind him when he met Evermillion for example. Why didn't he just use a decoy and poof out when he got "captured" too? He is to me, the most dangerous player at the moment.
