I've seen the number 23 everywhere for over 10 years. I'm pretty sure it's a message from the other side. Also a lot of major events end with 23 if you add the numbers together.

9/11, 2001 = 9+11+2+0+0+1 = 23
WW1 = 28 July 1914 = 2+8+7+1+9+1+4 = 32 = reversed 23
