If you connected them to a larger system, they would dampen it to a point, and stop moving. Their movement is only continuous when they are free to move. They will not bend space and time to continue jiggling.

However, it might be possible to build new solar panels and antenna designs with this stuff. Possibly computer components as well, since you would essentially have interlocking logic based on crystal arrangements, but with very little transition energy.

Nothing in this violates the basic rules of energy or time, but it does have potential uses.
