How do I make people on Sup Forums pick up unpopular shows I like?

How do I make people on Sup Forums pick up unpopular shows I like?

you don't

By lurking more

You always argue a priori that said show is a masterpiece of it's genre, and imply subtly that the other poster is uncultured for having not known about it.

Just keep shitposting them everyday or two and some people will probably jump the bandwagon eventually.

Post cute girls from that show repeatedly. If it has no cute girls your show is objectively bad.
People would be watching Endride if these cuties had all been in the first 2 episodes.

Shill it.

>Animators get the same shit-pay from working on super-detailed works like this, as they do from other anime
Animation industry is so bullshit.

wheres your source

This

Some surprisingly honest answers in this thread

Make cool and trendy memes about it.

If it's currently airing, you don't.
If it's previously airing you start making threads about it, posting reaction pictures from the show in random threads, and start bringing it up whenever it works.

I have time right now. Suggest me something.

>waa I won't feel good unless Sup Forums likes what I like.

An entire generation of weak minded drones needs to be fucking purged. Fucking product of soccer moms and worthless fathers who aren't men.

Only the manliest of men can ever hope to be the little girl.

Boku no Pico

Just get a bunch of people to circlejerk around a show. Le hivermind meme actually gets retards to like something because they see plenty of threads on Sup Forums. It's been proven, every season has 1 show like that, you can easily point out which one is it, just by looking at the thread's quality, plenty of crossboarders and newfags trying hard to fit in.
If you're wondering which one is the one for this season, is Re:Zero

Cherrypick fanservice scenes like pantsu shots or something. Post them as an OP after the episode airs. You can also try shitposting shows. I noticed the more shitposts a show gets the more enjoyable the show is.

>he doesnt know animators in Japan

Ok.

by lying to them, make your obscure and shitty series the next master of martial hearts

Deception.

Funny that's coming from a cancerous namefag.

Start liking popular shows.

no

only cute girls? ;_;

Turn it into a meme.

Talk about it.
Make OC.
One of my main reasons to learn drawing was to draw porn of obscure shit I want to get attention.

...

It's a classic.

Stop having shit taste in hipster anime; the problem lies in you.

Spam Sup Forums with meme girls to shitpost about [\spoiler]

Post really intriguing webms, like this.

He needs to fix the range on that sensor for the door. That must be pretty annoying

First you have to meme that shit up

It's a Star Trek door - sometimes it opens too soon, sometimes you have to slam your fist against it to make it open.

What the fuck?

>Endride
>Google it
>two bishounen on the cover
I can definitely see why people would avoid it. Shit looks like it's targeted at homolust fangirls.

Take lewd screenshot or fanart of the show and make related variant of "this is your date tonight" thread.

Rekt

It isn't harem user
Every shounen is like this : two-three useless girls and everyone else is male (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. )

phantom quest corp is shounen?

Yoo please tell me this is actually how it is in the anime and not fucking fake subs?

Get a group of autists and make an IRC, shill threads you like and falseflag shit you don't like. Been happening for years.

Add moar Bewbs

by stop butthuting the other

Stop the samefagging

Name show?

Why would you want to?

Yeah they fucked up. Especially the purple haired faggot, he looks like he came straight from a BL comic. I'm not sure if they were banking on fujobucks or not but it's flopped either way.

Shoujo Tsubaki

+1, teh besto.

can confirm

People on Sup Forums, or rather in general anime fans on the internet, forget that even the most "popular" shows are just blips in the radar to people in the world as a whole. (That includes stuff like SAO, GuP, etc.)

Inside our little niche, we sort ourselves up in this hierarchy, trying to fit in with others by noticing what people are watching, and avoiding shows that aren't being watched by the majority. It's typical social behavior, perhaps programmed through our evolution.

And so it physically hurts us when an "unpopular" show that we actually like isn't well-received by everyone else. We fear for our status in this hierarchy, and we make threads like this to justify this natural urge to fit in. Stalker threads on Sup Forums is proof positive that we care about our status, because having "good taste" means that you're high up in the hierarchy - in essence, it feels good to belong, and it feels better when we think we've made the correct social decisions.

But you need to remember that the crowd's taste, especially on Sup Forums, is always fussy, and in no time and before they even realize it, they've moved on to something else. They forget that trends don't last long, and an anime is easily forgotten by most people in a year or two.

So don't worry about wanting the rest of Sup Forums, or even the rest of the online population, not liking what you're watching. As difficult as it is for a human being, you need to forget about status and how a series is perceived by others in this circle, and watch shows that positively impact your own life. That's the only way to be happy.

just assume that 98% of people here are newfags who try their best to not give themselves away

We care about what happens in our niche groups user. It can't be helped.
As much as you want to boil down and try to comprehend, doesn't mean it will change anything.
Just because you know the recipe, doesn't mean it will taste any different.
Also, it feels good to know a show you like gets attention.

Make screencaps of scenes.

Post them repetitively.

Eventually we will like it.

>wanting to make the show become mainstream, and your waifu (if present in said show) become internet's public cum dump
No, you don't like the show

Tell me there's loli fanservice in it. Make it believable.

>love is when you keep this thing all to yourself
>my precious

Truly these are dark times and surely mankind is all but lost to the void.

Depends on what kind of fanservice you're referring to

You need to spark discussions and samefag if you must. Keep it bumped and on the front page at all times

It's honestly a lot of work but you will b8 some

...

Sounds like you've had a lot of experience with this

Can confirm. Got baited a few times.

Here's a simple solution in six easy steps:
1) Get together with a bunch of friends
2) Start an IRC channel to coordinate
3) Start making threads about the unpopular shows you like
4) Reply to each other and covertly circlejerk
5) Encourage stray newfags/gullible morons when they post in your thread
6) Repeat until you've converted enough retards for it to become self-sustaining

Just talk about it a lot, really. I've tried to sway opinions for a show by shilling it before
