Alcohol is barbarous. Acquiring a driver's license is a lot of work. Everyone hates all the people involved in the process. Sex is something poor people involve themselves with. The middle class doesn't do that thing anymore.

Correct but the combination with avoiding driving makes me think what's actually happening is closer to , than the emergence of a morally centered generation. I've noticed that SJWs I knew from college had an uncharacteristically high rate of not learning how to drive at a normal age. It's a sign of a certain kind ultra-collectivist, ultra-sheltered, ultra-artificial mindset that makes a person into a permanent dupe whose only option in life is to advance down prescribed paths. Sounds like gen z is gen zombie to me.
