yes

i failed

Nah.
I played instruments before because I'm not a total pleb

No. I learned to read music and play the piano starting at the age of 4, best to do it young while the language center of the brain is still developing. Same with learning multiple languages.

Maybe I did.
Maybe I should stop letting anime influence my hobby and interests so much.

These are my guitars. See any that look familiar?

And yeah. I knew how to play long before I ever saw K-On. It did, however, pull me out of a musical rut that I was in. Learned all of the songs on piano, bass and guitar.

No.

But I actually tried to learn one because of Haruhi.

Nope

I didn't. Yui didn't learn anything, she just played.

I tried to buy a Gibson because of this show. Then I realize I'm have a affinity as a bassist.

i've been playing drums since i was nine; mostly jazz now. i stopped playing for around three months -- longest tine spent not playing -- for some reason and it seemed like i was going to play less and less from there on. then i watched k-on a few months ago. something changed inside me and i play daily again

i also imagine some of my favorite tunes being played by the keions now
youtu.be/pkuDq541JOo

didn't mean to reply, but if there was any other instrument i could learn, it would be upright bass or vibraphone

Dont you just want to break Azunyan's neck? She's so cute. Ritsu wants to in that photo too

What?

She's just so cute

Then why do you want to break her neck?

>she's so cute
>welp better break her neck

Nope
It was because of Shigatsu

She's just so cute. Not even my favorite keion

>you tried to learn an instrument because of this show

Who would be so stupid? This isn't even about music, it is just another show about cute girls doing cute things. The time they spend eating cake is bigger than the time they play.

If you have made this question and used anime about music, like Beck or Appolon, you could have good answers.

I am that stupid.

You don't know anime fans/weeaboos

And how much cake have you eaten with your friends?

Not enough.

Was close to buying those AKGs Mio had but didn't because I find headphones uncomfortable

I am literally going to marry Azusa.

Your Lie in April made me want to start piano, I'm seriously considering getting a keyboard now and using the excuse that its beneficial for studying.

I am but is too difficult and my fingers hurt.

Any good guitar tab to learn don't say lazy?

I already knew how to play four because I was in marching band

>literally marrying Asuza again
more like this the first time she sees what you actually look like, right user?

>literally marrying Asuza again
more like this the first time she sees what you actually look like, right user?

This.

I'm literally going to fuck your waifu and turn you into a cuck.

user I considered it one time, just once.

Dude you can literally just google k-on tabs and get almost all the songs

I was barely starting out on guitar at the time I saw k-on, all it made me want was to start a band and drink tea with my bros.

Are you ambidextrous?

No, I knew I was going to be too lazy, so instead I got into the habit of buying many different varieties of delicious cake every week.

No but the show made me remember the times when I played the keyboard with some friends long time ago.

The sales of all the instruments used by the girls increased back when the show aired. So I guess that a lot of people. The only reason I didn't was because I already had my old keyboard.

I said "good". I found a good one once but for some reason there is a part where it doesn't sound good. Or may be it's just my guitar..

Everytime I see this that hand bothers me more

I considered it briefly but I did always know I was never gonna stick with it anyway.

Maybe I should've gone for it.

I was playing the guitar before I watched this show, but when I watched this and Beck it just inspired me even more
I think Sakamichi no apollon is the only anime that inspired me to learn a new instrument

I was playing bass in a band with my Bros before watching k-on! But it was the fact that I liked playing in a band so much the reason why I started watching keion

I was already playing guitar at the time it aired, but its been on and off forever and I started when I was like 17.
>tfw could have been good
>tfw didn't train from child

Picked up a violin because this one. I was surprised at how easily it came to me. Cruised through my first two song books so problem with decent intonation. I dislike it because I can't just pick it up and fiddle around while I shitpost like I can with a guitar.

This cutie makes me want to pick up bass.

Same. I got interested in the show because I saw the characters playing real guitars.

However K-on convinced me to buy this.

breh it's just E and F for the intro and C-D-Bm-E-D-C etc for the chorus

I play an instrument but haven't watched k-on yet because im afraid of anime characters being better than me

Sailor Moon made me buy a violin.

It was too loud too practice, so I returned it.

Yes. I prefer playing left handed, though. I bought the K-On guitars right handed because I got an amazing deal on the Les Paul and they don't make Azusa's left handed

If you look, Azusa's is strung left handed.

It has nothing to do with the laguage area

is your name Rex or Chris, by chance?

no

I was already playing drums for years before i watched K-ON but i was kind of inactive at the time so watching it made me want to practice everyday and playe all their songs. I think being a musician is the reason i enjoyed the show so much.

Is Tsumugi a Muslim now?

What instruments does Sup Forums play and own?
I pretty much play anything, but own just 2 epiphone guitars.

Guitar and bass
2 Fender Guitars and Geddy Lee Jazz Bass

Honestly though I just want some friends to play some anime tunes with. Rewatching Haruhi and that second season OP is amazing and fun but I have nobody else to jam it with.

I've been a drummer for 15 years now, user.

Is that sunburst one a Hamer?

Keyboard and castanets

2012 Gibson Les Paul Standard

Wow very nice man! How do you like the sound? What kind of pedals do you run?

Fender Mustangs and Gibson Les Paul

Those wouldn't happen to be fender kurt cobain jaguar and mustang?
They look like em

I remember being in this exact same thread a year ago.
Some guy had bought the Vox Azusa mini amp thing, you guys are pretty cool.
I'm pretty sure was in that thread but I could be mistaken, I've always wanted one of those I'm jelly.

I played guitar for a couple years but just got stuck with it, picked up piano a year ago but it's quite difficult.
I started learning the drums to smells like teen spirit two days ago and it's been the most fun I've had in a while

Yeah I have a Vox Azusa miniamp. I'm actually travelling/out of state right now so the K-on amp is the only thing I have for amplification. It's really handy.

I own a humbucka tele, and a les paul.
My cousin has a fucking rickenbacker, johnny marr sig strat, and an american standard strat. The AmSta strats' neck came from the same production batch as Hendrixs' did. Hes not even good he just has rich parents.

I haven't watched the movie yet. Did they really dress like that? It looks cringey

Marr Mustang*

I tried to play Piano, when I was in school, way before I started watching anime.

>he's not even good, he just has rich parents
that makes me so mad

Just get rich parents

My family's been poor my entire life. Didn't help at all that they got a divorce either.
Anyway /end blog

I played the guitar before but it made me want to get a les paul.

Me too. Every time we "jam" he just plays his wannabe marr stuff. when i try to play something he just starts playing over me. Feelsbadman

just get new ones

Just the norm. Distortion, overdrive, loop, wah, etc. Basic stuff.

It sounds amazing. I love it. The only thing I don't like is that it was expensive so I'm scared to take it to gigs.

Is just official artwork.

Is this my chance to get adopted by a 10/10 cake

nah, i know I'm hopeless

very cool user

I admit that I consider the way idea for a while but I realize that I am too lazy to do it. I would just waste my money on a guitar that is just going to end up collecting dust and that would be just sad.

I mean after a year trying to learn Japanese I can only read Hiragana.

Learning to understand spoken Japanese is a lot easier than guitar

I believe in you!

That would be them! I love Nirvana and they're the only lefty jag/mustangs that fender offers.

It's just a guitar. Music and guitar manufacturing are both very big industries. To play and listen to music you must buy the equipment. Money is more important than skill.
